You surely couldn't believe these survey's. They aren't surveying working Australians. Most likely those that are at home sitting by the phone or approaching people in the street casually not doing much.

According to McClown by spending $185m we'll have tourists flocking back to WA. Yeah right....who in their right mind would want to come to WA for holidays from the eastern states when he's bagged every other state mercilessly for the last 2 years and shuts borders in the blink of an eye? You pay your hard earned on flights and accomodation then for no apparent reason, borders close and you risk losing there lot. Plus people in other states can go overseas to certain locations unencumbered so the attraction of coming here would be zero.

DD this is not done by some crackpot survey company it run through a Uni and funded by the federal government. You can believe what you want but at some point listening to what others think and are willing to say is an important process. I could accept your angst if it was a roy morgan liberal or labour bent process but it is a credible and valid snapshot of the populations views.

areas outside Perth are choked with people from other states with no intention of returning. WA number plates in caravan parks are the minority. Not totally relevant to your thoughts but plenty are happy to be here and spending $. I agree, I have no intention to travel again while my return is not guaranteed. But I’m happy to be living the life I am

I'm not sure how they're all getting in Frothy coz only people coming from Tassie and Queensland can enter WA without quarantining.
