With all the talk, particularly coming out of Melbourne that Perth may be the preferred or only option for the AFL GF, maybe even the whole AFL finals series, how will that impact the WAFL GF which is set for Optus on Oct 3? I fear the WAFL might be dumped from Optus and sent to a local ground which would be a disaster.

SS I would presume that the AFL GF is held on a Saturday so I don't see that there is a conflict.

The AFL GF is scheduled a week or 2 before the WAFL GF on Oct 3!

I hope everyone is buying a ticket to the WAFL GF at Optus this year. I think even those of us who's team isn't playing finals should make the effort to get along and support and show the WAFC this is the venue where the WAFL GF belongs. Crazy cheap prices on offer for early birds who pre purchase before Sept 5 but then only goes up $5 between Sept 6 and Oct 1, then another $5 extra if you leave it to pay at the gate on the day.

Before Sept 6 $20 ($15 WAFL members),Sept 6 - Oct 1 $25 ($20 WAFL members) but I didn't get WAFL membership discount cos I paid for seat in the Sportsman's Lounge. Still cheap.

I hear there was huge problems with the catering last Friday, absolute embarrassment with Optus management chosing to close most the catering outlets, what hope have you go when numpties cant run shit.

Apparently no staff and they are having same issues even for the GF. What an embarrasment that would be.

Mate I don't think there will be any trouble getting tickets for the WAFL GF.

You do know that a heap of people get freebies don't you.

That’s the price business is paying for hard borders and include hospitals in that. Can’t get staff because it’s too hard to get people into the state.

I never suggested it would be, quite the opposite. Just encouraging WAFL lovers to buy a ticket and make the effort to show the WAFL GF belongs at the premier football venue in the state.
