Why do other clubs with the same socioeconomic demographic and social issues as Perth faces in its zone, continue to outperform Perth?

Just thought I’d post here to see if any CFC supporters around.

Please WAFC, fixPFCzone.
More importantly, why is the WAFC and Perth Football Club so silent on the issue? Perth supporters have had enough. The lack of communication from the club is a disgrace. Members want answers.

We all know why it’s such a lopsided competition. I can guarantee you nothing will change unless there is change. We know successful clubs either cheat or have a enviable advantage due to their zones or bank balance or they cheat salary caps or don’t pay their bills and get away with it.

So why don’t we say fuck you, align with the Eagles and become very powerful and win lots of fake flags until everyone is fed up with it and says ok ok barleese, we will stop pretending it’s ok for Perth to exist with shit zones and even up the zones so we have an even competition.

They also have some of the wealthiest cashed up areas in the city as well as two outstanding Football Colleges, areas like South Perth, Como, Manning, Kensington, aren't poor, and Wesley, Trinity and Aquinas are as good as CCG and Scotch.

DD how will doing an EP fix your zone, will it be like Peel where they struggle to field a reserves team through lack of interest of colts continuing, do you think it will attract more boys to the development process, how will it benefit the zone?

And you know as well as anyone because it’s been said a dozen times over on here, we’d be lucky if 20% of pupils in those private schools live in our districts, compared to Claremont where around 80% live in the area which is Claremont’s zone.

Probably a fair few that can’t get into Scotch, Christ Church, John XXIII go to Wesley, Trinity or Aquinas. They cant play for Perth if they live in Claremont, Dalkeith, Peppy Grove etc….

Your club was smart Grump. When you had issues with your zones, I recall struggling to field reserves and colts teams, your club aligned with the Eagles. Saved Bronte a heap of money and put 1.5 + mill in the bank while you went to work on the commission to strike a better deal with your zones.

You are well set up now to join the big 4 and play regular finals in the decades ahead. I noticed a heap of kids from Caversham on our list over the weekend. Swans mustn’t have been able to accomodate them, surplus to their needs. That gets handed over to you next year along with Averley. You’ve got the north eastern growth area sewn up, well done.

We need to get smarter and wake up and smell the roses. Doing it the honest way just isn’t going to cut it. If the WAFC don’t give us what we need and want to continue to deliberately hold us back then I’m happy for us to align with the Eagles and if we do we will be powerful and successful and I’ll take it without a hint of shame.

When everyone is sick of us winning fake flags then maybe people will come to their senses.

A far lower percentage of students that attend Trinity and Aquinas would be domiciled in the Perth zone compared to the percentage of students domiciled in the Claremont area who attend the PSA schools within the Claremont zone.

I'm not sure playing around with zones is the panacea to Perth's problems. Case in point, my young bloke played juniors at Melville footy club and also for Aquinas. By the time he got to year 12 about 8 of his mates were down at East Freo playing colts. Fast forward 5 years one is playing for North Melbourne and only one other is still at East Freo playing ressies with all the rest either pulling the pin completely or playing ammos. So yes I agree having a productive zone helps build success but it's what you do with the kids coming through that is the most important thing.

Where have you heard this DD?
If Averley (after starting up then losing Ellenbrook) & especially Caversham which is located less than 5km from Bassendean Oval are removed from Swans zone there will be hell to pay!

Why would you take junior clubs off Swans who have won 1 Premiership (by a whole 1 point I might add) in the last 30 years to give to EP who aligned twice and won 3 flags in the last 21 years and not take them off their Western neighbours CL or SU who have dominated both League and Colts for so long???????????
