I would absolutely love to see your side go undefeated for the rest of the year and then get rolled in the big one.
You should be focusing on getting a 2nd team on the park, not sitting in e grade belting clubs 3rd, 4th and 5th teams.
As strong as you may be in this grade you wouldn't stand a chance against our, wanneroo and ocean ridges league or even reserve sides.
And FYI-
Plenty of front running teams have dominated the lower grades and still capitulated come seasons end

Highpants, Didn't get up to see the game yesterday but noticed your boys destroyed Noranda yesterday. Big turn around from last time both teams played. Peptides finally kicking in or Noranda really poor now their season is all but over????

Sorry mate was working down in bibra lake yesterday morning so only managed to make the 2nd half of the league game which turned out to be a bit of a blowout.
Il provide a bit more of a write up when I get more info but from what be heard not many of last years e3 premiership side pulled on the boots yesterday. Is it true a few of those boys are playing up the grades now?

Great to have our 3rds in another finals campaign after the start to the year we've had and having to come up 2 grades in just one year. Quietly confident we can knock off Rossmoyne on their own deck next weekend and go into our finals match against ridge with real momentum.

#nochance what?
No chance of beating your first and only team? Yeah I'd say its highly unlikely too but stranger things have happened.

On a side note looks like the top 5 is all but decided with Rossmoyne, swans, wanneroo, ridge and the bulls going into the finals in that particular order. Been a great year for us, wanneroo and ridge with all senior sides and colts sides going onto play finals.

Good luck Highpants.

We went down but we were understrength. Not an excuse just what happens when you the clubs Thirds side, if injuries occur above then we have our best players taken.

The score in my opinion doesn't reflect the hardness and competitiveness of the game. A review of the video suggests we only had 3 less inside 50's for the game.

Joomla016, I refuse to bite.

Cheers endorphin,
I believe anyone in this grade is still beatable despite joomla believing otherwise, just have to catch them on an off day.
I'm not expecting us to win but can hopefully make a real game of it, at any rate it's good preparation for finals before the cut throat game against ridge.
One of the drawbacks of being a 3rds side when your league and reserve sides are launching a finals assault of their own. The vibe around our club as a whole is great at the moment as well as having the league side be 1 finals win away from c1 next year.

Well, that's me done for the year. Won't be playing against West Coast Cowan unfortunately as I have sweet tickets to the President's room at Subiaco for this weekend's match.

Unless someone kicks a bag of 10, I'll be taking out the Brentwood goal kicking award on a mammoth 14 goals. Says a lot about the year really.

Good luck to all for the finals - won't be playing against some of you for a while once we drop down to E2 or E3. Despite our horrid year, it's been a blast.

Good luck in the finals for Quinns, Ridge and the roos. Hopefully either of your teams take out the grandy.

A few retirements Highpants, a few guys left the club and quite a few have followed the coach in to the C3 reserves team who to the best of my knowledge have been smashing opposition teams week in week out and have not lost a game all year although I'm open to being corrected there as haven't followed their progress all that closely. Another flag up for grabs this year for them boys if they can keep it together.
