Sorry buddy, I ended up grabbing a powerade on the way out.

Our club had a function on we had to get back to, Op Shop/Karaoke night. Apologies.

It was a good game nonetheless, you boys were right in it until the last 10 minutes. Hopefully you boys finish off with a few wins. Thought 12, 2 and your player coach were your best three.

Was an enjoyable match, bar the hangover I was suffering. Tight all day and played in good spirits.

It appears all has gone quiet on the E Grade front, could it be the calm before the storm that is the finals?!??

In E1 my mail is that Rossmoyne are working full tilt towards the highly coveted E1 Flag, whilst the Districts boys seem to have lost the plot a little bit in the second half of the season. Could make for an interesting finals series.

Either way, Rossy and SD seem to be the only real genuine premiership contenders at the moment. The difference between the top and bottom teams this year has been a shame.

Hopefully the likes of Brentford and West Coast Cowan get relegated at least two grades so their troops can face some even competition next year, and the E1 grade will be more competitive.

Thoughts?

Yeah Rossmoyne and Swan Districts would be the favourites.

However Rossmoyne only beat Ridge by a point a couple of weeks back, and Districts lost to Quinns.

We lost to Districts by 4 goals but nothing was it until the last ten minutes of the game. We have Rossmoyne tomorrow, our side is a bit depleted due to injuries in the top teams but look forward to a solid hit out and think with a full strength side we could give them a shake but we would have to play our absolute best to be a chance.

But I don't think Wanneroo, Ridge, Quinns have an impossible difference to make up. And I think all three teams can hold there heads up making games against a clubs LEAGUE TEAM competitive.

I really hope they cause some upsets and at least make a grandy.

Wanneroo, Quinns and Ocean Ridge league and ressies teams look like they will all be playing finals and a good shot at getting to a grand final themselves. When a club as a whole is going well everyone lifts and I think you should watch out for a couple of their thirds playing out of their skins to get the chance at being in the ressies or leagues grand final campaigns. May result in a few upsets if Rossmoyne and Districts think it's going to be easy getting to the GF.

Would also love to see one of the 3rds teams getting to the GF though.
