G'day all,

Good to see the new fixtures up, not so good to see an unusual mix up of teams in E grade comps. Strange decision in my books.

Worth pointing out that E1 sides traveling to Brentwood have a 5pm start under lights. Always a good atmosphere but can provide problems for some clubs ("Swan districts" in particular I would expect) so please get in touch if you have any concerns.

How Brentwood got relocated to E1 is perplexing. They were mid table E3 and now have been pushed up to E1 with Bayswater and Beechboro only having one team and being pushed in to E3.

Coolbellup got put in E2?? Why can't single league teams be put together and the thirds/fifths for clubs against each other.

E3 seems to be NOR while E4 is mainly SOR (with the exception of Dianella Morley).

Having 3rds and 4ths in different grade makes thing a bit harder I imagine.

Interesting you mention this whitey as I would of though that having location based competitions would have been the best option if they are looking to totally ignore gradings as they seem to have done.

Would probably help to keep people in lower grades interesting by reducing travel times.

E1 where we are seems to be all over the place and I know on some of the long road trips we will struggle for numbers as thats just the way it is.

2 up 2 down system doesn't really work that well if they decide to split NOR vs SOR. Collegians isnt' exactly close to us Whitey.

I'd rather have Dianella Morley than Collegians given the travel factor.

I think if they try and make it as fair as possible then guys will stick around for their club and I don't think travelling would be such an issue. I would rather a bus trip and drink to a close win or loss, than to drive 10 or 20 mins and be on the receiving end of a thrashing. Well thats just my view and everyone just might let me know theirs.
