Would really love to go to town and let ya really know what I think. But reports are being written and lets wait till we see what the WAAFL say. We had their administrators down there who personally saw how atrocious the umpiring was straight off the bat. They were as appaulled as we were. The umpires had no control. The racial villification was unrelenting from Hamersley. And when the oppositions so-called captain says at the beginning of the 1st quarter...."Upset these black c**ts and they will loose their heads".....mmmm, great leadership !!!!!

Thank you to the gentleman from Fremantle CBC who offered his name and support to confirm before the League the display of the umpiring and their total lack of control of the game.

It's sad when even our non-aboriginal players also get called "White C**t".

Its a sad day, but both teams need to address this situation.

I have been involved at Beechboro for the past 5 years, working hard and have seen limited progress in stamping out this behaviour

Only 1 report from the game, to be heard, so no further comments in regards to that matter from me....and with 3 of our best players out on Saturday due to FIFO obligations....we will see.

Bomber, I can confirm that wheteher white or black, Beechboro are and have always been C*%^s! Racism is not on thought so hopefully you belted the guys that deserved it!

This weeks games are both at Dalkeith. Collegians pay Hammersleyand both teams play the same style. The Blues will have there work cut out but a big home crowd should get them over the line. Bayswater you would think will beat Beechbro as it looks like they ill have a number of suspensions and Bayswater play a very tight hard game that will cause Beechbro some problems.

Wasnt there coach banned for a couple of years? If so does not look like anything has changed. You would think that the President would take some action against the coach/team if unacceptable behaviour has continued. I thought Beech had turned the corner when the coach was suspended. Obviously I am wrong.

Suprised to hear that considering both the times I played v beechboro there was no dirty play from them and no colourful language.. It may have been because it was a very one sided contest both times ? But after kings way I would have to say beechboro were the most enjoyable to play against.. This is also my first year of ammos so I don't know what they have been like previously..

Beechboro are rough and have a couple of fairly skillful players.
However when I played in defense against them, they often tended to kick the ball high inside 50 giving me a couple of opportunities to intercept.
The big forward they have, if he can't take the mark or possession, he just cleaned up the livin fk out of me. Second ocassion I had to be helped off.

Its always the one who retaliates who is seen to be in the wrong. Yeah I will acknowledge at times this can take many forms and agree it is not something I wish to see at all....but who will be honest in themselves and say, I may have contributed to that reaction.

Like they say, it starts at home and that goes for all involved.

Retaliation? There was nothing but dirty play by some of the boro players. Same as mustangs, nollamara, southern river, koongamia, sister kates etc etc. get off the grass, put the picture together, sort this out. Don't hide behind the them v us card - doesn't wash.

Hey explayer. I never used the Them/Us card, just stated both teams should have a good look at themselves. As an Aboriginal person stolen from my family and raised by a "white family"., I'm the last person to ever play those cards. And to Scooby, as a female and mother and someone who has committed 10yrs with two clubs to administer the game I love, I am deeply offended in being called a c**t. It appears things may never change

I joined this forum in the hope to have good constructive conversations around the competition we all play in. I am removing myself from this forum as of today as it appears to just be another social environment where negative comments can be given by faceless people. I have enjoyed reading many good comments and a sense of community, and to those people, keep up the good work. I just wish to remind the others of the WAAFL By-Laws of May 2013: Use of Social Media, Section 32.1, 32.2 and 32.3. Maybe give it a read.
