you are right about E1 with nowhere to go up for the winning teams, the other 4 or 5 mid range teams on that ladder will never get anywhere and would probably much prefer to be in E2.
Although if you are a 3rds team, it is probably better for your club if you play better teams in case some players need to fill in for ressies or league sides.

Dirty Weekender - I like your name and your attitude, we could always use you on the field. You'd be crumbing at my feet, so no doubt they'd be a lot of ball to feed off.

Things are looking up this weekend - we're already up to 10 'Goings' on Facebook. By Thursday that number should increase to 14, and then it's the usual bulk message to all players by the coach (typing one handed of course, he loves a ice cold white can after training).

Shwaborn, you are right about E4. The top three are streets ahead.

Forrestdale and Safety Bay are single team clubs and should be in a higher grade. Safety Bay have two or three very good players, while Forrestdale play like it's sheep stations at stake (each to their own). Melville are their club's third side but are a very handy team, well drilled and well disciplined.

The rest are fairly well matched, although the two teams who have night home games (Gosnells and Warnbro) seem to do much better at home than they do away.

Kelmscott are winless but keep plugging away, fair play to them.

Hopefully the comp works out a bit fairer next season.

Benny, no sympathy here!

You are a one team club pumping 3rds teams!

Your team has contributed to the lack of players in the other teams as they know they will get flogged by your team!

How about you try and get 2 teams and play in C grade next year? Or you should've asked to be in E1 this year!

I HAVE ZERO SYMPATHY FOR THE ONE TEAM CLUBS IN E GRADE.

A. YOU OBVIOUSLY DIDNT PUSH FOR A GRADE SETUP OF ONLY ONE TEAM CLUBS IN THE INTEREST OF FAIRNESS

B. YOU SEEM CONTENT IN PUMPING 3RDS TEAMS

C. GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER AND FORM A RESERVES SIDE OR MOVE TO SUNDAYS!

To win a flag as a one team club in E grade is a like a 25 yr old beating a 8year old in an arm wrestle. Unfortunately nothing to be really proud of.

I'm match hardened after getting in half a game about 6 weeks back so maybe this year is not out of the question...unless of course ur playing Rossmoyne again where I suggest to lay the forfeit and watch em bleed a little

Great to be involved in a massive 1 point win over Whitfords down at the kennel.

Couldn't stop laughing at the Whitfords coach/captain having a go at our goal umpire for a mark on the line early on in the game. Clean take on the goal line, was either a mark or a goal from the kick before. Surely he knows the basic rules of footy?

Good day for Brentwoof(d) winning league, ressies and thirds despite "being a third grade club" after that decision.

Well done to Brentford. Not a big fan of Whitfords, when we played them we accidentally started the quarter with 19, we took the guy off as soon as we could but their umpire had our score wiped despite having 18 on when the count was actually called, I had video proof as well. Even though it was 2nd quarter we had kept them to 1 point so we got in front two minutes later.

Look forward to our night game at Brentford in two weeks, love a game under lights.

Anyone know the result between Ridge and Noranda? We lost to the prison team by 5 goals. Had our chances and it was really a bad 2nd quarter in which we lost 6 goals to 1 that got us but glad we have improved and look forward to another crack at them without their umpire in finals.
