Well done to Wanneroo, with both 3rds and 4th sides having a win on the weekend.

With the influx of numbers at the club this year we brought in a 4ths side and it was great to have both teams have a win on the same night.

I think wanneroos 4ths will start to trouble a lot of the teams placed higher on the ladder as they start to gel more as a team. There are some decent players in the team who are fifo or just want to get a kick without having to worry too much about training.

After considering the negative feedback about Heathridge Park on this forum, we are trying to win a patio to increase your viewing pleasure. We are asking everyone on here to get behind a fellow WAAFL club to help improve our facilities. Please access the link and vote for Ocean Ridge Amateur Football Club before Friday.

Well done bulldogs, glad to hear you got off the mark.

As for Rossmoyne being beatable, not a chance in hell.
Outplayed for 4 quarters by a team that should not be in e grade, if swan districts have lost a number of their stars then Rossmoyne are a real chance of knocking them off later in the season.

Yesterdays result has me eating humble pie and you sounding like a genius Highpants after Rossmoyne knocked off Swan Districts. Haven't had any news regarding the game except for the result at this stage. Would be interested to hear if the game was played with any spite as last time round Rossmoyne thought roughing my mob up a little was the way forward.

Interesting you should say that dirty weekender, we didn't have any issue with Rossmoyne up at the bullring when they played us a few weeks ago. I'm assuming that swans have lost a few players in the past week and this has hurt them a bit on the scoreboard.
From a Bulls perspective we were able to bounce back from our hammerings against rossmoyne and wanneroo and post a good win over whitfords which has kept our finals hopes alive.
I'd be keeping an eye on the boys from the showgrounds who are playing some good footy which jas them sitting in 3rd spot and setting themselves up for an assault on the finals.

I believe that Brentwood will be forfeiting this week. I'm guessing the British and Irish Lions test along with going out onto the field where a 100 point loss is a good result has taken its toll. I know it's been said before but this grading system has been an absolute balls up and it takes the fun away for the weekend warriors that can't train and just want to go down for an enjoyable contest. I know a lot has been said about us needing to train etc, but it's not what E grade footy is really about is it, and to have a league where there is such a variance in ability and talent really just ruins the point of having an E grade competition in the first place.

Fingers crossed we can get a side up next week and look forward to the hiding that will almost definitely in sew.

our average loss is 21 goals per week ... getting a team each week is no easy feat.

great work by the league

Stirling has also forfeited in the E2s for tomorrows game, along with North Fremantle and Bassandean pulling out means there'll only be 2 E2 games tomorrow. Surely something has to be done about this?

that's what happens when you put teams in comps that can't compete and get flogged every week. I've had over 70 players play in my thirds team in 11 games. Its a joke and guys aren't interested in being flogged every week for a thirds game.
