Just out of curiosity I switched over to Sky News Australia to see how they were reacting to the latest developments.  Michael Kroger was one of the guests.  Why would anyone take any notice of his opinion given he thinks that Y2K was a myth?

It is quite incredible despite the lockdown in NSW that has gone for how long now, must be in it's 3rd or 4th week the numbers not only not coming down but rising and the same thing seems to be happening in Victoria.

It is not surprising that the numbers are continuing to increase in NSW.  Their clayton's lockdown was never going to work in the short term.  They are continuing to chase their tail.  By the time they lockdown an area it is too late as community spread has already occurred there.

With respect to Victoria the next 5 to 7 days will show whether they are able to contain it.

As an aside I noticed that one of the corporate bookies now had Labor at $1.85 to the LNP at $1.95.  A few weeks ago the LNP were at $1.50.  Of course, given that the election is unlikely to be held before March next year there is plenty of time for things to change.

It doesn't help compliance when through the American R Murdoch's media outlets people like Murray, Bolt, Jones, Credlin et al keep pushing the agenda that lockdowns are not reasonable.
