It’s these ignorant migrant families in Sydney’s south west that can’t keep their hands and lips off each other who form in large gatherings that are the problem. Let them die of Covid I say.

it's definitely not exclusive to any migrants mate - most of them are Australians who deliberately ignore 
that premier still hasn't enforced total lockdown and they need to do that now

Initially yes Southerner I agree but now it seems it’s the large family gatherings that is the problem as most of the positive cases are close contacts.

the number of fines issued is bloody unacceptable given the reasoning behind this - the age groups do know better but deliberately choose to ignore & do what they like

Death of an elderly lady from Covid, caught it off close family contacts. a 15 yo and 30 yo in ICU on respirators so anyone who still believes this is just an old peoples serious disease is kidding themselves.

So much for Glady's "gold standard" state, she's once again a laughing stock, but it's no laughing matter for those in ICU or who's businesses are going to the wall. She keeps saying there's not enough vaccines but the news on several news reports showed very few punters showing up at the vaccine centres, typical NSW numpties considering themselves above the rest.
It ain't about supply anymore it's all about intent or lack thereof. There out and about window shopping, or having family get togethers, the big shopping centres are still open rather than just the grocery stores and pharmacy's which are really the only essential shops.

So what do we know about the 15 year old and 30 year old? Do they have such as Cystic Fibrosis, Cerebral Palsy, Rheumatic Heart? Why don't they tell us? Did the 30 year old have morbid obesity, Heart failure, Kidney failure, High blood pressure, a history of IV drug use? We will never know?

As has been said - we can't contain it. Let healthy people get on with it for mine. No 80 year old that I know would want their children or grand kids to lock down ad nauseam to possibly prolong their life for a couple of days, months or years. They say such as I have had my day in the sun, you go and have you year 12 ball love, have a good time. You go and have your gap year in Europe love - I remember mine - had a blast. You want to work 3 jobs Larry - you go for it - I use to too and that's why I have a river view. Sick and feeble stay home. The rest get on with it. This can not be contained. Public health has to take all sorts of health into consideration not just what the echo chamber is yelling about.

Another 97 cases and a two week extension on the lockdown in Sydney. Ouch!!

Not enough is being done to put out our appalling percentage of vaccination. Can anyone point me to a site anywhere where it says bang, percentage of Australians who have received 1 dose and percentage who are fully vaccinated? I've searched and the best I can find is state by state, it doesn't give the national percentage. Is SloMo trying to hide the embarrassment?
