42....20 out of those 40 BH listed  played for SD....not majority ...but geez not bad going none the less

STT, pretty sure a lot of WAFL clubs can ask that same question....bar Cl or Subi....but that's to be expected from the former who have 3 of such schools in their area....whist Subi might get lucky every now and then with the odd border resident.....can't think of anyone who fits that criteria over the last 20 years for EF...nor WP....nor SF....think we need BH here to clarify this I reckon...

All of EF good Aquinas boys have gone on to the AFL...well of late they have in Ruscoe, Sharp, Warner etc....but hey that's to be expected considering the mantra here all the good footballers come from affluent zones, schools and families...

I bet Perth hasn't got one of these in the local paper.

Richardson and Yeo are not from our zone and are from affluent suburbs. Colledge from Attadale. Rogers, Clarke, Jones country boys. Don't know about Davis. Doesn't address the issue raised, which is that the kids from the Albany Highway corridor are not going to PSA schools and the kids from those areas are not playing league footy.

I believe country zoning came into being around 1969/70 but metro zoning began long before that.
If you read some of Ooslumbird's fine interviews many of those old stars from the 1940s, 50s & 60s always make comment for example how they lived on the EP side of the street rather than the SD or vice versa etc.
