Seems a fair point of view given no indication of community transmission plus tracing capacity and social distancing in an outdoor setting. 2 round season with clubs would be the go.

Cheers. Crowds?

Apparently with omly an eight week season, wondering of the Sandover Medal this year?
Will umpires be giving votes or will the Sandover Medal be not awarded this year because of the circumstances?

I cant see why not WAG, like everything to do with this extraordinary season there probably should be a footnote on the official records that the year was shortened due to CV pandemic much like the war years are with underage players.

For me WAG, no premiership in the WAFL or AFL, no Sandover and no Victorian f&b. This is not a regular season and will not be. A full season of footy is like a chess game - strategy. Let’s just have an Escort cup or something of that ilk.

Good to see Wardman taking a leaf out of BC's book and playing down Subi's chances. Then when they win 8/8, plus the 2nd semi and GF, he'll say how he proud he is that his boys overcame a lot of hurdles.. may be a different look to the season but some things never change. However, the virus is likely to weaken Peel significantly, while EP have lost a few. players. I would say S clear 1st, SF clear 2nd, and PT and WP 8 and 9. C probably 3rd. Hard to tell with the rest.

Have Subi been given clearance by McGowan to train harder than other clubs ?

Yes MO that's correct, with the clubs untold billions of cash at hand we have offered to go guarantor for the state governments debt during the Covid 19 economic recovery, in return we are allowed to train harder and longer than other teams and we will be the only club allowed to have unrestricted spectator numbers at home games, should attract a lot of footy starved neutrals!!

Just read the SANFL are looking to kick their season off in a months time on Friday June 26 whilst we will have to wait another 5 weeks after that for our WAFL season to commence.
