I agree, but I fear that the restrictions will be put on sports venues a lot more than retail.

The current deal of 20 people in a pub but only if they have a meal, would mean no WAFL club could operate a bar even if they wanted to and I doubt with just 20 people allowed if it was changed you would make any money.

I see SA have relaxed things a bit early, I was really hoping Sneakers would pull his finger out and do that here, he needs to get a move on.

What really amazes me is the total lack of comment talk or feedback from the WAFL or WAFC on a start up date, this suggests to me that the clubs don't want to bother playing. rather we get hounded with constant AFL news about start up. ( ch 7 applying pressure for something to show ).

Tbh I have lost my appetite for it, and if I cant go and watch WAFL with a few beers and mates - forget it.

Me to no crowds no WAFL.
Why don't they just allow a few cars to park around the oval then to create a bit of atmosphere like Freo, East Freo and Basso. People can toot their horn after a goal.

Hopefully Capes and John Townsend will shed some light on what's happening in Subi's webinar to members and supporters tonight.

You need to remember the boards are member elected and members deserve communication.

Just not good enough by any measure.

Shame.

StT I have just read a item from our coach abt training and how they are managing the current arrangments. I have had a few items from players abt isolation so I know what the club is doing in preparation for any decision to play.
We live in a time where intelligent people are being silenced so stupid people won't be offended

No club's officials are allowed to make a single peep without WAFC/AFL approval beforehand - that is rigorously applied ask Haydn Raith

Surely they can get it started before the 18th of July, the poor players have to wait another month longer than the precious ones.
No crowds, is ridiculous, surely they could let in 1000 spectators, there’s more people wandering around your local shops. Make the security boys earn the money, by walking around the ground checking for social distancing etc, instead of hovering around the food van at the back of stand, munching on some chips and coke.

Agree fully, but the lack of noise from WAFL officials is astounding.

EF FM, Brad Dodd was just on SportsFM and he insinuate that an announcement was coming within a week and likely mid July start. Further reinforcing what Hagdorn said

Absolutely ridiculous to go ahead with no crowds. There is a lot of arse covering going on with these premiers and doctors. I think they are enjoying this power and limelight a little too much.
Why not have a spring night series under lights in October, November and December hopefully with crowds by then. If it was promoted well and sponsored it could even be a good earner for the clubs.
