Well said Dazzler, it’s a joke.
Get Toddy down there, pay him $1000 for one hour and half the employees wouldn’t come back to work the next day, need someone who knows footy and isn’t from the purple circle to put a broom through the place

Isn't that why the colts had to be ripped from the clubs, to produce more AFL products? What else does success look like to these cultural vandals and thieves at the WAFC? They certainly don't promote the WAFL as a competition in its own right. They do fk all for my local community club Hammersly-Carine. They do even less for my son's junior club.

It is indefensible to spend $9m of anyone's money, taxpayers, private, Chinese yuan phoney money, whatever on absolutely sweet fk all when we've got a state competition on its knees. That's the point.

You need to read the WAFC report to see where the money is spent.

Because the WAFC is for all football, not just the WAFL.

I've read the WAFC Annual Report for 2019 as I do every year. I'm not sure how you can possibly defend a spend on a bureaucracy that size that produces SFA for WA FOOTBALL (not other mobs football comps). If you think 200k plus salaries for any of these clowns is justified you're wrong. WA football isn't in good shape. You don't need to spend too long around community clubs to know that.

Nowhere have I stated that all $200k plus salaries are justified. In some cases they are.
The problem is that some in the WAFC beleive you have had to have played league football to know anything about it.
I have spent my entire life around community clubs and I know WA football in some areas is not in good shape.
I don't agree that the WAFC doesn't produce for WA football.
Not everyone can play at the highest level. The idea is to have a system where anyone who wants to play can play at a level they are comfortable with, they keep interested in football and then their progeny will be interested.
The WAFC has its flaws, so does the WAFL that is why the colts were removed from under their direct control.
I hope we make a better fist of it when the colts come back under the WAFL clubs admin.

If they are doing such a good job why are they having a review and why did they organise a meeting with wafl clubs including club treasurers yesterday to explain themselves ?
Shouldn’t their success be easily accessible and salaries easily justified ?

That notion sounds absolutely wonderful - sadly the reality is that the WAFC doesn't want a voice of experience , there would have to be conscience then
if it really was for all football this comp & all the outer leagues around it would be vibrant and producing heaps of gems
aint the case and far from it

The meeting yesterday was to explain how much $ is now available for the WAFL comp as they won't be receiving the grants they originally budgeted for, nothing more nothing less.
I have stated on 3 previous occasions, they worked out the $$ avaialble and divided that by how much to run each game and then presto, that is how many games we can have.
Simple Maths.
It has nothing to do with some bleeding heart releasing info to the press.

We'll agree to disagree then because I don't believe their primary interest is in WA football, it's in producing players for the AFL. 19 last season, 12 the season before. If you did a return on investment on that basis they are an abject failure. When clubs can't afford to play more than 10 games in a season because these imposters soak up $9m in salaries somethings wrong. You see it differently, clearly. I want WA football to be put first. We don't need a 5th column of self interested frauds batting for other competitions running WA footy.
