Lets hope the fixturing is given some thought, first round should be a Freo derby at Freo oval, Perth derby at Leederville, SD v Pth at Basso and Su v Cl at Cl oval, nobody cares about Peel so they can have the bye.

There will be Wednesday night games in all states in order for there to be footy Wed- Sun.
Why, because Ch7 has big programs gaps.
All of their channels were going to be filled with Olympic Games coverage.
Why Optus, Ch 7 already has the gear there
The teams playing Wed, will be the teams having the Bye on the Sat. either side of the Wed.
