"WAFL clubs reacted angrily to the leak, claiming that they had to operate on limited funding while WAFC staff appeared to receive the lion’s share of WA’s football resources."

Don't think do!!!

...and I see the Perth football league are planning to start their season on the first weekend of July...WTF!

9 million out of 11 million on salaries. The game has disappeared in a virus free state.

Doesn't look good.

Don't forget the fringe benefits these blokes get. Probably access to any AFL match maybe any event at Optus Stadium in a corporate box with a plus one.

This appears to be a over indulgence of executive salaries when most clubs have had to strip back their staffing to a bare minimum. Hopefully the Government will hold the CEO accountable for this situation in the context that WA grassroots football is totally underfunded at all levels.

Has there been any announcement from WAFC HQ about the WAFL season being brought forward to mid July as yet?
Or are they more concerned with going in to damage control over the leaked salaries document scandal?!?!?!?!?!?!

No amount of spin is going to save these frauds. $9m out of $11.2m on a fat cat bureaucracy that does SFA for WA footy (as opposed to Victorian footy) is without any justification at all. To see that bellend Wayne Martin wave it all through as nothing to see here is a disgrace. The WAFC board and executive have to go - lock, stock and barrel.

These clowns are cultural vandals. They have their tongues that far up the AFL coit its not funny. They sacrifice WA footy at the altar of AFL worship. I've got news for Wayne and Gavin and Naptime and the rest of these frauds - feeding a production line of WA youth to the AFL beast ain't benefiting WA football. The overwhelming majority of footballers in WA don't go near the AFL let alone the WAFL. This obsession with talent identification to feed the AFL machine is a disgrace. How about thinking about the bloke who pulls on a jumper for the Hammersly-Carine reserves every week, or the kid playing for fun at the Manning Nippers. What are they getting from the WAFC - fk all.

And to strangle the viability of the WAFL by pinching 9 of the $11.2m on offer is beyond belief.

And a big fk you to the WA Government as well. They clearly have no idea where that $11.2m goes after they hand over the cheque. That in itself is a scandal.
