Would have been West Coast Eagles at Bassendean today BH. 2 of our 4 wins last year came against them, although its fair to say that the Eagles didn't have their strongest team there on either occasion. As I remember the first match was a fairly comfortable victory for us but Tony Notte won the 2nd game with a last minute goal when he slipped out the back of the WCE zone defence?

I think Sean Cowans channel is replaying the 1990 Grand Final sometime this weekend ( it may be this afternoon). Must have a look at that as I missed the game due to being on a 12 month overseas trip. I actually found out that they had won the flag 2 weeks later when I spotted an Aussie newspaper in Washington DC!. No internet in those days!

It was yet another GF against Claremont with us starting as the rank underdogs and managing to get them when it counts Mike.
Just thinking back on all the GF's we have played in since I have been following SD (80, 82, 83, 84, 90, 08, 10) I think we have been the underdogs in all of them possibly was even money in 82?!
