AR; The Mexicans will just dig more tunnels under the walls!! It won't be much of a deterrent just a minor speed bump in the grand scheme of border crossing.

Can we build a wall or electrified fence the other side of the Narrows and the Causeway to stop the Mexicans from South of the river interloping to see how the NOR folk live? Yes I know we've got brick and tile houses and sealed roads over here get over it. :woohoo:
Get on your bike.

Lots of people making lots of assumptions about a bloke who we really know nothing about, that's what frightens people, Trumpet is not the status quo.

He's been a brilliant self promoter and campaigner with his media grabs and thought bubbles to appeal to the great unwashed of lower/middle America and he's got the gig, now we will have to wait until after Jan 20th to see if there's any substance to this bloke or, he is who he has represented himself to be to the voters a billionaire boofhead sprouting feelgood unsubstantiated promises (gee that does sound like a pollie).

The only thing so far that I have liked about him is his lack of PC-ness, but I'll wait and see what happens before forming an opinion, everyone, even Trumpet deserves time to show who they really are and what they can actually do.

The wall was never a serious intention just another pollies feel good statement along the lines of Hawkes "no child will live in poverty" election promise, sounds good but absolutely unachievable.

the fact that people will try to go over it, through it, under it is of no great import at all. If necessary, you militarise the border. In truth if Trump does nothing about the issue, he will suffer at the hands of the electorate.

No one should be able to fish in the Rio grand even Americans.

MO quite happy to build it with my own yankie money; but that his problem, he has opened his mouth so he has to act; same with repealling the so-called Obama Care; we will see whether he invokes a 'special session of Congress to get rid of it.

This is coming from a man whom has spent a lot of time in Scotland and has spoken highly of the UK's National Health Service.

SS it doesn't bode well when people of the ilk of Sarah Palin, Chris Christie and Newt Gingrich are spoken about as the equivalent of our Ministers. Similarly, a possible nomination for the EPA is a climate change/global warming sceptic.

One of his promises was to scrap Obamacare and replace it with something, and I paraphrase "better and oh so much cheaper".

How is he going to deport 11 million people? This would include a significant number who are parents of American kids.

Similarly, how is he going to get all the manufacturing jobs back that he promises? Will the wages be something like $5.00 an hour? There will be a lot of disillusioned working class elevtors in Michigan, Pennsylvania, etc.

Also, I note that H Clinton was leading in the popular vote.
