As for the presidential election my sense is that had Bernie Sanders been the Democrats contender he would have beaten Trump.

Mike,,Bernie would of beaten Trump.Hillary is questionable in a number of areas.Time will tell but think Trump will drain the swamp and go after Hillary.
Hillary has refused to consede defeat taking away Trumps victory speech.Its over.

Whilst it is well-known that I am on the Labor side of politics, I don't think there has ever been a more disappointing election loss for humanity than this one
in my opinion.

I work with plenty of Philippino's and they tell me their country has never been safer it's a surprise to them that they can actually walk outside with out being mugged., and they say don't believe what the media feeds you regarding their president.

I just come back from the Philippines been there 5 times now I didn't see or hear any gunshots or bloodshed on the streets if anything I saw a slightly greater police presence which is a good thing but I could roam around and do the things I done on previous trips didn't feel any different. He dominates the news and newspapers over there everytime he opens his mouth and his popularity is at around 90%. The only thing I said to a few locals over there is he better be careful not to burn his bridges with the USA because in times of need they are your best friend China won't come to your rescue.

Now Trump has got up he will work to repair the damage caused by Obama.
