Signage on ground for a start. Hit channel 7 up for advertising packages or afl tix for gala auction. Sponsor for the day and get readings to interview them.

Just got to put thinking caps on.

Bit easier for PFC we will just rent Latho to other clubs on Thursday nights.
How much is Channel 7 paying the WAFL clubs to have their logo on the club's footy shorts as opposed to how much is Channel 7 being paid to broadcast the WAFL footy?    I am doubtful that there would be much forthcoming from Channel 7.

I don't understand why Swans, for example, would rent Lathlain Park Oval.  Surely that would reduce the amount of money Swans would get from their ground's sponsors at Basso given there would be fewer games played at Basso?

I doubt the telecaster is paying the Wafl clubs anything for the signage on the players attire.
Is my understanding the secret original deal allowed the current telecaster to contribute nothing in cash to secure the broadcast rights.  The package is fully underwritten by the sponsors is my belief. Unless the situation has changed? Personally do not view the Wafl tv telecasts and led to believe not all the rounds are covered. Unlike the previous deal with the ABC.that religiously performed a top class telecast every week.

I noticed the signage at Joondalup is really sparse a lot of blank space, they seem to have a major shortage of sponsors.

The only money the clubs would make are gate and catering, Ch 7 and WAFL wont give them SFA for the broadcast, feel free to knock up your club sponsors for extra cash next year based on a Thursday night Ch 7 broadcast, but I clearly recall Ch 7 doing midweek night games when they took over the broadcast, they rated OK, but suddenly faded away so the clubs obviously didnt rake it in.

What have we got from the Ch 7 broadcasts?

Ridiculous game times including Sunday am start times.  Camera work that appears to have been shot from outer space. Not all rounds televised.  And for the cost of a reputed one million dollars.

I am actually wrapped with the South fixture this year, in the main trad Saturday arvo games, the one country game was a pain int the arse but apart from that very happy.

Has that been the case since Ch 7 started broadcasting the WAFL?

The live streamed games have far better camera work & quality of picture from what I have seen 42.
Channel 7 must be using cameras left over from their 1970s days in Dianella!
