Dwert - its people with mentalities like your's, that are half the problem. All about the victimhood and blaming others instead of taking responsibility for personal choices / behaviour. And when faced with actual facts, you fall back onto personal insults. Heres a cold hard fact -
Indigenous make up under 4% of the total population, but make up around 30% of the prison population. Why is that? Racism? Oppression?
Ill give you a hint, its same reason as why 90% of the prison population is male, and its not sexism.
In analogy with marxists, who held that only the proletariat were able to see the social arrangements that shaped worker/capitalists relations, seems some of the colonising culture cannot see institutional and structural racism.
Give me one example of this in our current society.  An actual example of institutional racism

Yes, I'm uncomfortable seeing some of the comments towards a fellow poster on here which are outside the remit of the topic but I guess it's the old adage...we're all entitled to our opinions and if you don't like it, don't read it.
Show us the comments towards a fellow poster that makes you feel uncomfortable BC and I'll send you a fluffy pillow and a box of Kleenex. Your polite backhanded slaps are quite obvious and have been for some time I've noticed since you've been socialising with some of EF lads you have met through your sons junior football. I used to think of you as one of the more intelligent ones on here but it seems you are easily influenced.

Quoting ABC, SBS and NITV a lot lately Dwert. Lol

I suppose some expect a moderator to be a monk with no interest in football or any other matters just to sit around all day, never post an opinion but at the same time have the knowledge and interest to moderate and and provide a platform for everyone to enjoy. 🤣

I used to think of you as one of the more intelligent ones on here but clearly you have been influenced.
DD, I'm not about to get into a tit for tat argument with you or anyone else on this, but some comments made to Dwert about sending his kids to school instead of terrorising the neighbourhood or similar weren't great when he's arguing for what he sees as a solution to Indigenous problems.  I don't go along with his opinion and we had a respectful discord where we both agreed to disagree.  It's a shame some others on here can't do likewise instead of treating the likes of Dwert as part of the problem when clearly he's not.

I value the opinions of most on here including yours and hope there's an element of reciprocity.

When I said send your kids to school you know what I meant BC, indigenous folk in general. You know that’s half the problem. It’s in the news or social media every farken day. I had two Aboriginal kids kick the fence in on our property bordering the neighbouring block. Police identified them, one of then owned up to doing it in the middle of a weekday (not school holidays). Police woman said to me unfortunately you aren’t going to like what I’m going to tell you. They are at an age of no responsibility. There’s your problem right there and these kids and their parents are aware of it.

I then said ok did you speak to the parents? Yes we did. Did they offer an apology and offer to pay for the damage? No they didn’t. That’s just one example, there are many more.

I recall on several occasions gangs of young Aboriginal kids hopping on trains to go to shopping centres and causing terror and mayhem. This is the reason the vote will be a resounding NO WAY. We never hear Aboriginal parents apologising for their kids behaviour and taking responsibility for it because they actually approve of what they do. Same goes for most so called Aboriginal leaders. All they do is fucken complain and blame the white man and government.
