Geez, the referendum has been called as a lost cause already at this early stage!
If the yes vote failed, old Dutton has stated previously he would hold another referendum. That being the case, i suppose everyone will be doing it all again soon enough. Certainly hope he can justify the costing of it all.

Yes vote absolutely smashed the longer the count goes the bigger the gap. Yes 39% No 60%

 

Time for the PM to take responsibility for spending $400m+ on a referendum that was never going to succeed and has caused immeasurable hurt to the people he was allegedly trying to help. 

The PMs put himself in an untenable position so the the quicker he falls on his sword the quicker Australia can move forward.

no mention of resigning after that

Agree this thing has had the opposite effect it's created further division and made us look like we don't care to the outside world. He has to go. In the meantime what else has he done apart from flying all over the world and arguing with the Greens over the housing bill? Fuck all and the economy ain't flash atm.

The further the vote moved away from the city centres.The Greene,Labor and Teal seats.The stronger the NO vote was.
Polling on Thursday was terrible for the Yes vote.And was proof that this should of been shut down over a month ago.And tried again at another time.
The Voice ranked as only the 15 th biggest issue of the day.Economic ,cost of living ,housing crisis,global wars,weird climate cycles.Just to much crazy stuff going on atm.

Yes and I thought it would be obvious (or bloody well should be obvious) that australia has far bigger problems needing attention. The far too high cost of living that's out of control, consumers being scammed with the gas pricing, Australia's electricity problems, the housing crisis just to name a few! The voice thingy is not high on the agenda. Federal government should be active and responsible by tackling the major issues, but sadly not! After all they are supposed to be governing for All of us. When looking around, one sees that ain't so.

you and I both know that the large foreign interests won't allow that inside Australia mate , they've got too much money here - it would be preferable to have a system in place to holding another refo like Dutton promised to do if elected into Government
