Just my thoughts:
B - Holland Billings Hodge
HB - Kane Houghton Vidot
C - Bateman Bevan Moody
HF - Jacobs McInnes Reimers
F - Davis Colledge Tunbridge
R - Eyres Smith Rogers
I - Risol Stack Sketcher Busher

Got some height down back 193+cm in Billings, Holland and Houghton
Got some height forward 193+cm in McInnes, Colledge and Tunbridge
Busher on the bench gives option to forward , back or ruck, basically go where he is required.

Feel free to complain away.

Nothing wrong with the FB line buddy , would be enough down there to match your mob of fags . The HB line could probably be strengthened and hopefully should be with some more recruiting . You can only put in what you have got and atm thats what i believe we have got .

Bundy im not sure that Billings is 193+ cms(id be surprised if he was) and ive always been of the belief that hes best suited to a half back role and is not a key defender, for mine hes been found out a few times playing on opposition above his weight and height.

You have probably got the 2 key forwards right if the club does no Kpp recruiting.
I have huge ??? over Houghton in a key defensive role..can you see him handling the likes of Josh Smith from East Perth?Claremont also have some handy Kp's in there forward line.

Still a problem with the No 1 Ruck,1 experienced key defender and 1 experienced key forward, these are deficiences we have had for a number of football seasons!

Paul you supersonic dipsh1t, you and your other Perth fantasy talking over the top bullsh1t artists are the ones who told me who is STILL doubtful.

Zucconi, Billings, Davis, Smith plus a few more I am lead to believe.

Go back and do your homeowrk little one.

How anyone at Perth can say that the gains outweigh the losses is way BEYOND me. Ross Young's loss outweighs the gains of Bateman and Reimers combined.

You're a weird lot.

I'm new to these forums and have never posted online before. I am a life time Demons supporter and like us all wish success to come to the club. May I suggest that some of us that are putting up potential line-ups need to get along to a few training sessions and see who is actually on the track.
At this stage there is no sign of Zucconi, although I believe there is a possibility that he may return. Same with Billing's and Leon Davis, although not confirmed as losses as yet I understand that their return is unlikely. Alister Smith is definitely on the track and playing. Chance Bateman is training. There are many new faces down there (obviously given our losses to date) and overall the squad does appear to be taller, there are also some quite large bodies lad down there as well. I know that many of these guys are unknown quantities at this stage, but hopefully there are one or two surprises amongst them. Both Brennan Stack and Paul Bevan look in first class nick and from an observers perspective there certainly seems to be a better "feel" amongst this playing group.
I haven't as yet been able to identify Jared Risol but hope he has the size and experience to hold down one of the key back positions, if Zucconi returns I would feel more comfortable, but as a minimum I hope the club is still able to turn up one more top shelf key defender and a experienced ruckman, which I believe they are still trying to source. Whilst another established key forward would be good, I'm more concerned about our backline than our forwards; I think we have enough options up forward (at least for this season).

Cheers and welcome 1961. It's good to get some first hand knowledge of what is happening at clubs during the off-season rather than speculation from ill-informed sources. I'm not a Perth supporter but don't think I'd be alone in hoping they do well in the next season or so to reward long suffering supporters such as yourself....although being a Subi supporter suggest Perth's current premiership drought pales into insignificance in comparison to our 49 years bewteen 1924 and 1973. I didn't see 1924 obviously but was there for 1973 and reckon there was nothing sweeter than seeing Ross Smith hold up the cup. Good luck for this year and hope your Dees improve.

If Zucconi, Billings etc are not training now then they should be told to leave if they come back. 2 months behind everybody else is no way to start a season & if Perth FC have any balls they will tell them so.

I have been told Matt Rogers has a younger brother who is on our list, Todd Rogers. Apparently he is quite a bit taller than Matt and also a solid unit. Question now is will he want to go with his brother to Swans as well? Could be a double blow. If he's built like Matt but taller that is just the type of player we need. Looks like he's 4 years his junior, not sure if he's eligible for league footy this year. Had 40 hitouts in 3 games of colts last year so looks like he's a future ruck/key position prospect.

Welcome aboard 1961Demon and its good to see someone else on here who sees training sessions and has some idea of whats going on.

I reckon there has been a lot more intensity in the training process compared to same time last season and I credit some of that to Trevor Williams influence. Just my take on it. I have seen him before at Peel and I can see some new stuff with the Demons.

In my view I reckon there are too many gaps in that current squad to predict a great 2013. Others have said it. Established KPPs are lacking.

Terror is right - if blokes aren't committed at this point of the pre-season you have to tell them to hit the toe. I agree with the new emphasis on professional standards and discipline but you can't make it a half way house.

I reckon Perth supporters fall into three categories - eternal optimists, seasoned pessimists and fantasists. Looks like there's a good spread of them on this site.

Thanks for the welcome BC. Putting parochialism aside for our own respective clubs I think the one thing that all contributors on these sites share in common is a love and passion for the WAFL (I won't air my WAFC and AFL views in this forum). I'm afraid that Perth is in my blood and as sad as the last 30 odd years have been the thought of dumping them or following someone else is completely abhorrent. I just hope I get to see a bit of success before I kick the can!!
Hi Terror, I have no issue with your comments and in principal agree with you; patience and tolerance with players "whims and wants" can only go so far; but there are always three sides to every story (his side, their side and the truth) and Zucconi is one player that I rate very highly and would welcome him back at any stage provided he is back for the right reasons.
