Smokey why would i come on here post something that i dont think is going to happen, my opinion is that we will finish bottom i gave my reasons why, yes the club may be changing its so called culture and discipline but in my opinion it wont make any difference in the playing arena.

Some REAL Perth supporters have the ability to make their own minds up as opposed to being yes men as someone else has already said.

I find it pretty piss weak calling anyone that is skeptical about our chances not being real supporters which is what you really are getting at.

Paul, I actually like the way the squad is evolving. We have had a lack of talls in the past and it is an area the Club has tried to address. A work in progress may be but I think an area we are improving.

I know I know, Dene White is not going to win a sandover medal but he is a good depth player. Plays really well in the ressies and can fill in capably when called on through injury, and no he won't play 20 league games this year. He picks up a lot of possessions, and I know his disposal is not the best but hopefully with better players around him he may improve.

I hear what your saying mate , but imo i would rather give a young kid a go instead of somebody who has had his time and couldnt make the grade . We need to move forward not go backwards .

Yes you're right always need to be conscious of giving the youth a chance.

Selection needs to be based purely on performance.

I think that is evolving.

I don't believe that it helps at all for some to continually put the club down with negative comments.
Our club has been down for far too long and I prefer to look for positives going forward. I don't intend to give up on the club.

Sorry to burst your bubble smokey, chat forums are here for opinions me saying that i think we will finish last is not putting the club down, i hope i'm wrong by the way.

PN smokey has talked up Perth's chances every year for the last 35 years why should this year be any different?!
