All stirring aside, even though i tipped Perth to once again finish bottom, i hope they rise up the ladder, because by the looks of the interest in Perth on various now defunct foorty sites and now this one, it shows what a sleeping giant the PFC 'could' be! I would love to see Perth finish top 3 behind SD and WP, now that would generate interest

Baseline I seem to remember in every EF v P game last year, Perth seem to specialise in the old circle work routine when trying to get the footy out of their defence....seem to work wonders for them every time too!

Good point BC. TBH, I had never thought about it that way, but yes, it's very hard for a footy captain to put his stamp on the game. For instance, Glass at the eagles leads from the front, but Waters promotes and displays blind courage...and he isn't the captain. As for the thread topic, I was suckered for the last 2 seasons by the Perth supporters and really thought they would give the finals a good shake. Gotta say I'm a bit cold on them and can't see where they have picked up any talent that will lift them a couple of levels.

I just read my 2 previous posts on here and to be honest they are exactly on the money. I WAS giving constructive criticism!! Bateman shouldn't be captain and i told you why. You need someone who will be there for a while, who is Perth through and through and who has leadership skills.

And please don't use ozfooty reply numbers on a chat forum as a guide as to what WAFL club is more popular. That is as weak and pointless as your backline looks and most Perth comments on this forum seem as the moment.
