just ducked over to the Souths thread, thought I might put forward my views on whatever was being discussed,- but seems not one new post since I was there almost a week ago!

I dont need other peoples agreeance Dogboy, I am quite comfortable with my own opinions and dont need to be validated.

Back to things footy -
Regardless of who has come in, who has gone out - I expect significant across the board improvement from Perth this year.

Obviously regarded last year as big improvers, and that didnt happen for a variety of reasons which a number of have been addressed. Game plan, coaching panel, fitness etc.So the upside of underperforming last year is that it leaves plenty of scope for improvement.

Would love to see some our lesser knowns step up - Leeson, Florio, Sully etc.

Baseline, don't you think the coaches, football managers and CEO's have been doing that year in year out for the past 30 odd years? We will be lucky to match last years results and one of the excuses used last year was it was taking time for the players to gel given the number of new players at the club. No doubt that one will get rolled out at some stage.

But my point is with the assembled squad, certain factors didn't align to allow them to live up to their potential.
My personal opinion, based on what I have heard and seen, is that a number of things have been addressed, which I believe will promote further growth and improvement within our group.
Players that didn't take a step up last year may be able to take two steps up this year.
Definitely not all doom and gloom as some would have us believe.

Did anyone hear that pathetic clown Mark Readings on 6PR this morning spruiking that an SD and PFC merger is something the WAFC is lloking at and that its a good idea! Plenty of goal scoring options,our midfield been rebuilt??
