Agree Baseline, if Sully is fully fit he will have a cracker year.

Paul Bevan for mine as captain. Chance certainly in the leadership group along with Reimers and possibly Busher.

Dogman you really are a fly blown mut arent you . A guy who played about 200 games of afl footy , a premiership , played under one of the games hardest and best coaches , played along side some of the games champions and you say what a joke that he should be captain . The joke is on you puppy boy . When a dog gets old and sick they usually get put down - i reckon its about time you visit the local vet and get the big needle . While we are at it my canine friend who will captain your mob of ethnic pretenders this year since the thug of a captain you had in 2012 has now retired - maybe fatboy Haselby can pull on the boots again and be captain / coach . Thats actually not a bad idea since you now have a sheila on your coaching panel , it would be a good fit - a sheila coaching a bunch of sheilas .

considering Chad Sandilands is 205cm plus and on your list I have no doubt he is this mystery man.....check out his colts stats with Perth and EF....averaged 1 mark, 3 possessions a game and 15 - 20 taps.....good luck fella's!

Those banging on about Chad Sandilands clearly haven't seen him play. He is light years off being a league prospect. His performance in the colts in 2012 was mediocre at best. On the rare occasions he wasn't used in the ruck and was sent forward he did the best impersonation of a goal post you've ever seen.

I will be amazed if he gets within coo-ee of a league berth in 2012. Talk about "project players", this guy's still at the design stage.

EF didn't let him go without good reason.

come on Superdude, stop ruining the Chad Sandilands party mate, any player at 205cm with an average of 1 mark and 3 possessions per game in the juniors is definitely worth the wait mate....EF were gutted to see him go, especially when one of their goal posts broke early last year and another was needed to replace it!

Come on freeze & SD you should know by now it just wouldnt be a proper pre season without the likes of smokey, demons forever, paul et al talking up Perth's chances of inevitable glory for the up coming year!!

Wasn't Sandilands, was bulkier and more mature, and had at least five possessions while I was watching training.
And come on boys, you know once the season starts we have nothing to be excited about, so let us at least have a positive pre season talking up our chances!

OMG - pick who you want as captain but a bloke who will be there for 1 yr, 2 tops isn't your answer. Develop one, choose someone who will be there fopr the long haul, like Young sort of did.

Don't worry about the mighty doggies captain. If you had any idea you would have known that our captain in 2013 will be the same as the one in 2012. Suppose you are too wrapped up in your Demons wonderland to take notice of what is happening elsewhere hey?

You may consider us a joke Dogman, but considering the Demons thread has had 300 replies to SF 78 it would seem more people actually care about Perth than your boys, and are happier discussing.

we have seen other forums ruined by people hijacking threads with no other intent than to ruin - perhaps unless you have something constructive to contribute you could refrain from posting on Demons thread.

I cant see what the big deal is on who is captain of a footy team. They don't do a whole lot more than any other senior player other than toss the coin. It's not like a captain in cricket who adjusts the field, decides on who bowls etc...for mine a footy captain is pretty much ornamental so it doesn't really matter...for example, would Freo be any worse off if say MacPharlane or Sandi was captain ahead of Pav? I dont think so...
