We jump at shadows here just like the hysteria over the AstraZeneca vaccine. Government caved in and decided to stop the much cheaper option of manufacturing it here and went on a telemarketing campaign around the globe to get Pfizer here. Yet evidence suggests AstraZeneca is the best of the lot. LMFAO 🤣

We're all sick of it GTR,but this year is the 20th anniversary of the passing of my beautiful mum,who sadly at 56 had her life taken by lung cancer,and she was a non smoker,and last year i had a major heath scare at 55 and am now sporting a stent,so health is a major priority for myself,friends and family,although i do empathize with people who have business's suffering as a result of border restrictions,and people isolated from loved ones.

mclown now backs the pm in the proposed redefining of the close contact rule and he has also ordered 8 million rapid antigen tests for us all to start with, which should be free of charge he says. So now the definition of a close contact is someone you live with or have spent more than 4 hours with. Good work mclown

And totally agree the border closures totally suck..For all reasons.So the sooner we can be totally vaccinated and manage this pandemic.We can get out of this shit mess where in.

Not trying to derail this thread, my mother died at 51 of stomach cancer, was non smoker all her life.  She too, used to drink a lot of hot tea….interesting point.
Anyway, apologies to all for digressing….back to topic.

Funny you should mention that '58,because i happened to be googling the benefis of tea,and more particularly black tea and it appears to have alot of heath benefits and read it was good for lowering blood pressure,and supposedly good for the heart,although that didn't help me in 2020.
