This may come as a shock to you but people are dying every second of the day, all sorts of ages and all sorts of reasons, the in fact mortality rate is incredibly low here compared to what it was 100 years ago, other places its still very high, my brother died at 12 months old from Cystic Fibrosis, that didnt stop my mothers faith if anything it made it stronger I think knowing there is more to life than what goes on here on earth.

Very comforting Bazza to hear your mother received some solace through her faith,as i did as a baptized orthodox when my mother passed away, and am the first to admit,i had and still do lapse from the core and essence of the human being i should be,and unlike some spiritless soulless buffoons,i don't profess to have all of lifes answers,and seeking them is a never ending quest,but my intuition has normally guided me through life quite well and is something that a scientific experiment would struggle to quantify.

Exactly my point - I think we have science to thank for mortality rate decrease, not the imaginary protector in the clouds. And im sorry but anyone who thinks differently or needs a God in their life to explain the world, has a few screws loose.  

Gee macb, knocking people because of religious beliefs is a bit unfair.  Maybe someone here that is a bit more pious than me can have a quick talk to God and ask him to put a little light into your life.

To each his own, I'm not religious but I respect those who have chosen that path as is their right, but I do not tolerate some sectors of religious faith telling me how I should live my life, especially those religions who cover up crimes against children, same applies to those who would tell religious folk they are numpties for their beliefs. I have faith in science above all other things.

I think he’ll open it BC on Feb 5 but it will be a Clayton’s border opening. You can lock in masks and a permanent 2 or 4 sqm rule just like before in lockdowns. There’ll be all sorts of quarantine rules and his new mantra is contain the case load.

I feel for anyone waiting for surgery, this clown will make you wait indefinitely yet we will see very little in ICU from Omicron. In the meantime it’s costing us tax payers a bloody fortune to compensate event organisers and those affected by his latest NYE shutdown.
