Sneakers has just tightened the border to New Covid Wales. Cant get into WA without proof of at least 1 covid jab and must return a neg test 72hrs before travelling. We now have a new high risk category that these new rules apply to, where any state that has 50 or more cases will be hit with. Almost impossible to get a pass into WA from NCW.

This is forced on WA given the incompetence of the NSW Government and the lack of compliance by sections of the NCW population. It is vital that WA stay clear of C19 as we are the economic engine that's keeping the national economy from falling into another recession.

We are dead set lucky we've got distance on our side otherwise we would be riddled with it here from Covid Zombies sneaking in.

It has in my opinion gone beyond incompetence at this stage.  The obduracy shown by the NSW premier and government has resulted in more and more intrastate spread in NSW and to other states.

Really? Victoria had 21,000 infections , up to 700 a day and over 800 dead, don't remember Canberra taking them over.

It will be a standard thing for all states and also international travel by next year.

The circumstances are very different in 2021 to the circumstances in 2020.  The delta strain is far more infectious and that was known prior to the current spike in NSW.   Vaccines were not available in 2020.  

they've just got far too many people ignoring restrictions and lockdowns every day for anything to start working in the right direction it's as simple as that - the spread of late to the country regions says it all

Vic 2020 was without a vaccine Bazz.. 

There is now a NSW wide lockdown that should have been in place at least 7 weeks earlier.
