I have changed my opinion of Gladdie, she showing real leadership, she is concerned with the increased cases and that folk are not following the directions. Wow concerned now that is a step up from last week, she is showing a real gold standard now!

What an absolute clown McGowan is dragging his clown shoes on updating Western Australians on if we are coming out of lockdown tonight. I really feel for cafe, pub, restaurants owners and catering business and people who have event's planned like weddings etc.....

What an ignorant bastard he is that he holds these people up who NEED TO KNOW if they can go ahead and open or have their event go ahead tomorrow. Food and beverage needs to be ordered well in advance you clown. Anyone who votes for this clown at the next election needs their head read.

DD McGowan wouldnt have a clue about any of those things in the real world, he probably has his dinner prepared & ready for him at the Govt House dining room at 6pm each day regardless of putting the rest of us in lockdown!

Lockdown officially finishes at 12.0 tomight/tomorrow morning but mask wearing is still required. At least all those who had school holiday trips planned can now get on with it.

WAFL clubs can resume training from tomorrow and stadiums can have 50% capacity. I assume WAFL grounds fall into that category, hopefully with masks not required unless indoors. So I can’t see any reason why next weeks fixtures won’t go ahead.

A mate sent me a clip of Alan Jones (I can hear 42 bristling) and he spoke of the lockdown mentality in Australia.  Won’t go into it all, but an interesting point was how Singapore is handling it.  He says that despite them getting 20 to 30 cases per DAY, they are treating it as an illness similar to the flu.  Treated without lock downs.  They are no longer in panic mode. will be interesting to keep tabs on them.

No new cases again overnight. Surely it's time to change strategy of locking the entire metro area down every time we get a handful of infections. It's been the same the last 3 times we've gone into total lockdown where the ends doesn't justify the means. Why can't we isolate close and casual contacts until they test negative, test everyone who has attended hot spots around the same time as the positive person and leave the rest of the state to carry on as normal?

we're getting them because of two issues 
1 the vaccination rates so poor
2 the deliberate ignorance and of some people
complacency has taken hold in states that should know far better - not one person wants lock ups that's for sure
