Mike I'm sure I heard McGowan say it ends midnight Saturday. I reckon they will postpone this week's matches.
Midnight Friday ( MINIMUM ) in other words it wont.

I don’t think there is much chance of the WAFL going ahead this weekend. Should award the points to the home teams.

So no cancellation of the WAFL ... yet. The clubs will already have had a training regime in place so that small groups can train at suburban parks in line with the limits on personal exercise, one week off training wont make much of a difference, but if the round goes ahead, shift it to Sunday so all clubs can have a full training session on the Saturday.

This lockdown was inevitable as McGoo & the dodgy Cook have no excess capacity in the hospital system to cope with even a small breakout, so they are once again the one trick pony, as they have no other way to handle it, no plan B. I'm up in York so no restrictions up here and plenty of dunny rolls

I might come up and join you SS...oh ...that's right....no-one is allowed to leave Perth... :-(.  There's something very wrong with the way we're handling this situation.  I work for a global Finnish headquartered mining equipment company and report direct to Helsinki.  My boss goes on summer holiday next week and is taking his family to Italy and Sicily for a few weeks.  I however, can't even leave Perth to go to York!!!  After everyone doing the right thing when this all started, it's turned into total bullshit for mine as we're not learning from experiences both here and overseas.  There has to be a better way than locking everything down when we get a handful of infections.

Remind me again when was the last death in WA, it must have been recent for it to be an issue for some to raise it. It must be the reason the hospitals are so over crowded with the infections from covid!

Funny thing abt the rest of the world some countries have done the vaccination rollout really well and can open up their travel but here we cannot and that is down to one thing and one thing only and that is the federal government and specifically morrison and his mates along with the fish and chip man politicising the debacle!
We live in a time where intelligent people are being silenced so stupid people won't be offended

Yep a combination of SloMo's pathetically inept handling of the vaccine rollout, Gladys Bereftofanyidea and Brad "Health" Hazzard's slowness to react to the initial Sydney outbreak all means McClown can pull his one and only trick in the book the good ol lockdown and all for a massive 3 covid cases to some Goodrem variant which is supposedly more contagious than the previous dozen variants that were all more contagious than the other....apparently!
Why would you even bother getting the vaccine now when the likes of McClown will still pull out his one trick pony lockdown if any case arises here in Perth????

Viruses mutate wow. That's nothing new but the media keep going with the scare campaigns to feed those who are holding off. 1 in 88,000 got blood clots from AZ in Australia. That's 0.00001136%
