I have to make mention right off the bat that I am very content with todays loss (WP v Peel), I hope they go all the way and thats just to stitch $ubi up, my gripe is that I am genuinely concerned about the WAFL's future, its very near future. I know Im preaching to the converted and the most knowledgeable people involved in WAFL footy, you guys, but "bugger it".

Todays game v Peel was a massive disadvantage that should never have been given the nod, last years result v Peel (109p) was a even bigger joke. Since the alignment The Ferals have participated in 2 x GF's, 1 x Prelim and 1 x Elimination Final. Peel have played 1 x Elimination and a Preliminary at worst this year, they have never looked like making the Finals in any of their other season since there inception.

Then we have the all conquering $ubi, $alary, call them what you will, who apart from a couple of years where Randall was running for a position at the WAFC where he kept the brown paper bags in his top draw to keep clean until he landed the position, immediately after, the open cheque book come out in force. $ubi have made a mockery of the competition and are only a Bees penis in the morals dept behind the alignment clubs as they power toward another hatrick of flags. They have recently taken the ultimate piss by roaching the top players from most WAFL clubs.

To ratify my comments, it was startling to read in the West during the week about Perth's Tropiano who is deciding on an offer from $ubi, 1 week into the Finals ??? Capes even stated they will decide whether they get Tropiano depending on who is playing on or not, are you joking!!!

Anyway, until we go back to dispersing the AFL players to their original WAFL clubs and the reverse draft, we are fucked with a big black stick, hopefully the new stadium will sort $ubi out and they will go back to rattling tins much like the early 80's. The WAFC are single handedly destroying this comp.

When was the last time Subiaco lost one of their best players to a rival club? Probably need to go way back to the early 80's and ironically probably their former president mentioned above who crossed over to SF.

No wonder this club is hated and despised by every other club in the WAFL.

As I mentioned, Im not overly disappointed at todays result, we played reasonably well but stitched up by a virtual AFL side, basically they were toying with us. My comments were prompted by the Tropiano article mid week, I could not believe what Capes stated and from what I witnessed today. I said to Swan Dog on the way home from the game, imagine how the non aligned and $alary players feel having 2 places in the final 5 to chase from 6 clubs, a lot of time, dedication and effort.

I don't think it should matter...if you make slanderous comments which could be remedied at law if the club thought it worthwhile when this site should take action...in saying that...its no big deal to me as Leedy and I have been swapping banter for ages but I was just interested if the mods would take the same line as they did with outer.
