It is interesting when a person resorts to personal insults rather than provide a sound rational case, it is almost impossible not to come to the conclusion that the person in question has last the argument. It is the same type of tactic that Donald Trump has used throughout his Republican Presidency nomination campaign.

Do any of the following names ring a bell old chap- Armfield, Ellard, Miles, Rance, Naitanui, Notte, Walters, Pearce, Pratt, Garlett, Yarran, Ugle, Banfield, L.Jetta, N.Jetta, Blight? And then straight after the flag win the likes of Twomey, Krakouer, Coniglio, Gault, Newman, Stevens.
Good to see you are still with us anyway Muddy old boy ..have a nice day! :)

Be careful BH, he sounds a bit angry for some reason.........

I thought the fact we lost 22 players to the AFL over that few year period was pretty common knowledge Mike not to mention the retirements of stalwarts like Beros, Griffin, Johnson, Piani, Cornelious, Edmonds et al around the same time factored in ...and yet the $ubi boys are getting their dependence diapers in a knot over us picking up 6 or so recruits to cover those all mentioned when they do that at a minimum each year without any drafted  ...$trange crew that lot! :)

Without any drafted?
Since the inception of the draft Subiaco has had 36 players drafted and Swans 40

BH with all that crowing mate, would love to know how many of those SD numbers actually stayed in the AFL and returned home with very few games under their belts...their game per year ratio's must be pretty low.....off the top of my head for SD...Garlett, Blight, Notte, Miles,Newman, Casserley,Pratt,Ugle and Twomey out of 40 drafted.....FMD no wonder why $wans fan$ rave on about the draft successes....easy money or what....

would love to tally up all those clubs draftees AFL games played and divide it by the total number drafted at each club...then folk would get a real idea on which club produces the most talent....Cl may have high numbers but I reckon EF n SF would shit in TBH....Sandilands, Black, Cousins,McPharlin Taylor, Swallow,Hase, Mcmanus, Kennedy and Ryder are all high 150 plus - 300 gamers.....reckon those first 4 alone would easily out number all those 40 SD draftees in AFL appearances made TBH...and easily cover for all those lesser known EF/AFL players like Perham, Eardley et al with limited or no AFL time exposure....

.numbers can be misleading don't you reckon....perhaps BH you can delve a bit more into this to back up all this black n white crowing of his.....you know don that Inspector Clousseau cap of yours mate.....the one you mocked Bazza for wearing during his working career

Careful frosty don't go mentioning that drug cheat Casserly, it's kind of a sore point and Mr42 has lawyers ready to go.

Not sure what any of that has to do with the % of local zone talent that played on the weekend Freeze which is the actual topic title? The list of 20 odd draftees I posted was following a request from a very kind & considerate $ubi fella  so I duly obliged. Maybe you can start up your own thread about such astounding statistics but don't forget to include their WAFL League games in your tally as well and also don't forget the likes of Papertalk, Mourish & co in your list.

Now back to the topic at hand I see the $ubi boys are even trying to claim Collie as part of their country zone not sure if they have ever found Gold in them Collie coal fields come to think of it I wonder if Shep & co down at Peel were aware ...let's hopes they aren't targeting opposition juniors now as well?

yep I understand BH....you were more than happy to respond to that posters request because you thought the answer was in your(SD) favour.....no probs just trying to add more depth to the discussion...interesting to think though that SD draftee machine you mention, nearly 1/4 of those SD draftees had unproductive n short personal AFL careers......but as you say that is discussion for another time I guess....probably one never in your OzFooty life time though

easy on the $ references to Subi mate....especially since $wans have made a few $ out of the AFL draft it seems producing inferior talent.....

well he may have grew up down there but has moved up here. he played 2 years of colts with subi and even captained them in his 2nd year. If you look at local clubs half of west perth would belong to subi and im sure its the same with lots of other clubs where kids play for a junior club not in there zone.

Yep no doubt it didn't work out for all of those boys in the AFL for varying reasons but at least they have all had around the 50 game mark at WAFL League level ...not sure about a couple of those EF draftees I mentioned before had that many if any WAFL League games but as you say talk about easy money!! B)

Now let's get back to the topic at hand! :)

a couple out of EF 60 odd sounds a tad better than 9 so so's out of SD 40 BH ;) .....but true mate, SD lead the way in everything locally produced and from the sounds of things everything which apparently gets exported into the AFL....good to see a subi poster do some research though and challenge these comments of yours BH....on the surface things may look black n white, but underneath it's a pandora's box of lies and deceptions eh mate?

Who gets credit for a WAFL player's footy career....the club that develops them as a junior or the one that develops them as a senior?.....lots of players have begun some where different to where they made their WAFL mark.....
