If we swap zones does that also mean we get the $ubi Oval ticket deal plus the bar takings & also the compensation package for being turfed out DG?

The old "zones" line bullshit excuse gets trotted out every time mate

Sure Beas, just as long as you compensate us for having sweet fa for 50+ years. If we had the tiges zone we would've won a hell of a lot more flags than we have let me tell you. It's just a gravy train of talent...

No doubt Claremont have been granted a very lucrative zone DG but to be fair to the Tiges having watched Colts & 16s footy for years their kids are well drilled from an early age and are very disciplined and very skilful so some credit must go to them. Also despite being an extremely strong club in my 36 years of WAFL footy the Tiges are always promoting their very own as soon as they show talent which is also an area my club can be very proud of.

It makes for some interesting reading as follows-

SD- 78%
CL- 78%
EF- 68%
SF- 64%
WP- 59%
$U- 45%
PH- 36%
PL- 36%
EP- 27%

Not surprising to see both SD & CL leading the way again with local zone players even tho both clubs have been decimated by the draft over the last decade and were the 2 leaders in the field last year as well.
As one of the charters of the WAFC is developing & providing a pathway for local zone talent by each WAFL club it makes it astounding some clubs receive the same development grant from the WAFC each season despite not fulfilling the charter.
I would have thought anything under 55% which is only 12 players out of the 22 being local to be unacceptable and not worthy of receiving the development grant some clubs readily but somewhat sheepishly accept each season!

Just wondering where you got your numbers from as im pretty sure there where 12 local boys in subis side meaning 54.5%

Yeah mate it is absolute complete hogwash. $ubis zones contain big country football areas like Goldfields towns Kalgoorlie, Kambalda, Esperance, Norseman, Leonora plus in the metro zone includes growing families suburbs like Darch, Madeley, Landsdale, Kingsley, Warwick, Greenwood, Padbury, Duncraig, Ocean Reef, Hillarys, Sorrento, Carine, Hamersley, Karrinyup etc.
This whole recruiting from interstate and poaching from WAFL other clubs is nothing new from this mob and has been happening for 20 years or more remember the names Sells,Crutchfield, McFaull, Hutchinson, Jennings, Jones, Heatley, O'Brien, Hocking, Vines, Knights, Grumley et al long before the likes of Delahunty, Kitchin, Boland Mahoney came on the scene of late.

Jackson is listed from Collie in Peels zone whilst Bryan is listed from North Beach AFC but he may have been from $ubis junior zone so you may have 11.

Hansen was recruited by your mob after he was delisted champ. You are full of it.Now how about that list known as the foreign legion that sent your pathetic mob broke in the process before claiming the Krakouer Cup in 2010.

Hardly surprising that this whole topic has gone straight over your head Mudlark.
Did you even read the reason I gave for Swans one off buy up on recruits in comparison to $ubis annual splurge?
Around 20 drafted the previous few years ring a bell?
