Typical BH DH unbalanced response, where's your arrogant disrespectful bagging of Monahan's rejection of the job?

I actually think its better that the State Coach doesn't actually coach a team in the WAFL.

It allows him to be impartial and thoroughly study WAFL players and his opposing State or Territory without having the added pressures of his club job.

One of those teams being Perth. I think the final selection of the big men in this game will be interesting. Do you go with Angus Graham in the ruck and then pick two players like Darcy Cameron and Clancy Wheeler who can also operate as key forwards or do you pick someone more agile like a Lachlan Delahunty.

Yeah I think Angus Graham and C.Jones would be the only selection from Perth, Tropiano isn't in the best of form atm.

Not sure who's on the selection panel? Will be interesting to see the final team named. Of course it depends on the players that are chosen, but a ruckman and then two players who can also operate as key forwards maybe the better option.
Subiaco play on Saturday (the 4th) with Claremont having the Bye. Teams playing on Monday (the 6th)are Swan Districts, Perth, South Fremantle, East Fremantle & West Perth.
With Subiaco and Claremont having the bigger break before the 11th, will those teams have more representation is another question.
As far as I know, Tasmania have no public holiday at the time and their players will not be affected by the shorter week.

I suspect the only contribution Swan Districts will make to the State game will be the venue.

TOSG apparently our scoreboard will be more reliable than the one that currently intermittently works at Leederville. Looking at a blank screen when one is trying to check the score is not a good look.

I suspect that we may have 2-3 players DW primarily because in the infinite wisdom of the WAFC there are three matches played 5 days before the state game.

I cant see a 5 day break troubling us against Tassie we should be far too strong.

I would think Riggio , Notte , G.Jetta , Ames & maybe even young Logue would be considered from Swan Districts for sure

There should be richness of midfielders available but looks like the No1 bonafide Ruckman possie will be Johnson's unless Andrews or Higgins get the nod

Shame Keunen is out really

Forwards-wise we'll probably have a few to pick from as well , same for the backs - could be that Josh Pullman gets his first gig as a backman haha he's been a revelation down there for us

Understand we have a few that will be considered but realistically are any of those named by you ahead of those from other clubs at the moment formwise. Hard to gauge when we are travelling the way we are right now at SD

At the moment I reckon G.Jetta and Notte will be the only SD players selected, Riggs might be a roughy and Amesy hasn't had his best year so will probably miss out but always having a red hot go
