I've a feeling WA will not have it all their own way. Tasmania have selected a quick side. Like WA, their team has some players that are unavailable. One advantage WA has is the bigger ground. Apparently the Tasmanians are not used to playing on big ovals. Which of course suits the home team.

Confidence is a funny characteristic Freeze ....can be very easily lost but can also be gained from what might seem a waste of time to others without an interest!

I will be interested to see how Rudy goes.....reckon he could potentially end a few of thoee U/16 state boys carnival before it happens with a decent tackle....which would be a shame TBH.....surely the ammo's with Ridley or Nelson might be a better bet.......less 15/16 yr olds to contend with...

TBH The way Rudy is playing at the moment the 16's will probably run rings around him. He wont be able to catch them to make a tackle such is his fitness level. But as BH said if he is able to get into the game and kick a few goals this may be the foundation for him to build up some confidence for the rest of the season.

Maybe we could offer Tyler a place in the side tomorrow ....it would seem the weight of expectation is holding him back down there!

This match not being picked up by abc radio is very disappointing, to say the least! Broadcast by SportFM, which is great for the people within the metro area.

Disgraceful comments by the Victorian coach andy collins about only wanting to play south australia from now on, "no disrespect to the other states" he pathetically remarked.
