Let's hope the coming weeks games on the ABC are more inspiring than the first 2 weeks. Yesterdays game wasn't a great spectacle.

Makes sense to put the 2 sellouts on before the Derby while the REAL 7 WAFL clubs play on another day/week!

Interesting that the Dockers v Eagles was not even close to a sell out and tickets were available right up to game day, I think they got 38,000 in the end so about 4000 spare tickets. Western Derby was always a sell out in the past novelty must be wareing off also Live TV now as well.

Should played the colts and ressies (the real ones) as normal and played the other ressies at SFC's ground before the weagles and dorkers. Members from those clubs could have had the the three or four vacant seats

Quite simple ol mate, the Eagles and dorks want their reserves playing as a warmer to their games....and they said it wouldn't happen

On Friday night here were about 150 tickets available for sale.

Ticket sales were clearly slow and it wasn't a sell out, and plenty voted with their feet and stayed away , no doubt watched on tele...it will be interesting to see how many buy seasons passes when the new stadium is built and you can just buy walk up tickets.

No one goes to subi to watch footy because it is uncomfortable

I think the Mandurah Dockers and East Perth Eagles should play at 210pm before the Freo WC derby. None of the traditional eight want to go up against it. The abc have to televise a game on Saturday and this should be the game.

Thought it was a good idea to have 5 teams having a bye. Maybe one game should have been played on Sunday and none on Saturday though.

Must get tv and fixturing right. Btw, no to clubs giving up their home games to the WACA for crying out loud. the place would look like a morgue.
