there used to be a phrase in our sport: 'you must kick over the mark' we should be encouraging its return. Importantly, it would discourage side ways and backwards kicking without having to ban that as well.

Apparently large venues can have up to half capacity , so Freo Oval which is now 10K max could have 5k..
