Is there any chance that Kelmscott will fill a side this year, or is it the death of this once proud sunday league club? Started Pre-Season Training just a week ago, and posted a photo on their facebook page of about 6 people on the track with one giving out water and another a 10 year old kid. Over 35 transfers out of the club, this is getting beyond a joke. At this point in time they would struggle to make an AFL 9's side let alone 3 B Grade Sides which will be competitive. Would love to hear a deeper insight.

Sad if true, paying not culture will never work.

Must admit, snuck up there last night to see who was training - no-one - the place was empty.

But maybe they don't train on a Tuesday night.

I heard they told a few of their reserves players from last year who rocked up to the 1st night of pre season this year to look elsewhere as they are not up to it.

1 week out and I see they are playing an Intraclub tomorrow for seniors and invited colts??

Most clubs have played 2 - 3 scratch matches by now and are all ready to go?

I suppose this time tomorrow we will know if they will be fronting up this season or not? More clearances out during the week doesn't sit well for the future

Classic example of why paying players does not work.
Especially when they are offering money to players who are on WAFL byes to come and play one off games for them

They have scheduled an intra-club at John Dunn at 3.30. Could be worth dropping by.

Guess thats what happens when you let a few dickhead in the club. I knew it was going south when their supporters stopped posting on here.
