That would have to be the slickest performance I have ever witnessed by the Hawks,or any team for that matter.And brutal as well.Well done to the umps on a near perfect performance.A big contrast to the previous week when it was terrible in both games.Finally,how does today's paper rate Naitanui as the ninth best for the Eagles,given that he had just 4 possessions and no marks over 80 minutes of game time.Dale Miller hang your head in shame.

Might suggest their was very little between 9th best and 22nd best on the day Mudlark. Nether ruckman seemed to have a massive influence so could base it on that up against the influence of the forward's, defender's and modfielder's direct opponents

Question for 58 and other WCE supporters

I was absolutely flabbergasted that Rosa was named Sub, too good a player with experience to be sat cold for 3 quarters and gets on when game well & truly over.

Think Simpson has had a great year but that was a BIG MISTAKE

Spot on. Freo had their chance against the Hawks & also got belted. Runner up is better than not making the GF.

Ohh i reckon Geelong 2007 was the best team in 20 years. 9 AA in that mob. Basically unbeatable. the Hawks have been beatable, BUT thier high level of consistantly winning flags is brilliant and cant e under estimated.

Agree. Big mistake putting a bloke with ready to go talent as a sub. I think Masten should have been the one.
