I have been told that the Perth Football League warned their clubs a few years ago about giving up their older clubrooms for new   clubrooms  especially if the council where to control them as councils have made it almost impossible for a number of Amateur clubs to operate.

About a week and a bit before the WAFL Season starts and the place is miles off ready.

Also swipe a card and the money goes to the club? What about all the other people buying? club loses the lot?

I really think its a shambles and we should have taken the dockers facility when were offered it. The club need to come out and tell the members the truth because people are getting fed up with the bullshit. We currently have 3 to 400 members thats all. I really  believe this whole shambles of a facility has turned people away. We are the reigning premiers and are the laughing stock of the league. 

So EFFC membership is about 350?

Well without Friday nights at the Club which used to be big, a place for past players etc to gather and live bands and so on. Then membership becomes a bit pointless with no social club of your own.

I think that figure of 300 to 400 is very low for this point of the season. Usually more than a 1000 by now. Mark Stewart had the whiff of a politician about him when asked in that 91.3 interview about the number of members signed up so far. Being at the WACA for two years was possibly the cause - oddly we had about 2000 signed up members during those seasons! Nothing to do with the new digs or the fact you can get in for free this season.

Hearing that WAFC will not allow free entry to games as its breach of rules of comp.
