Imagine him seeing Nedlands turn Labor - unbeleivable a bit like Fremantle going Liberal, in fact Fremantle is going more rabid left, the ALP had its smallest gain there and the greens the only place they picked up a swing, I just don't get my home town anymore.

I was speaking specifically about 1975 and the federal electorate of Freo.  I would point out Labor losing a seat to the green is far less significant than the Liberals losing Nedlands to Labor.

It didn't work his attack on McGowan.  On the latest figures, McGowan received 7 out of 8 first preferences cast in the Rockingham electorate.  2PP it is just under 88%,

I would also add that Murray (Sky News Australia) urged West Aussies to vote for the minor parties in the Legislative Council and bizarrely claimed Labor would win a mythical third chamber of the West Australian parliament.

As a postscript where were M Cormann and J Bishop born?  Billy Walker?
