I just struggle to see how we can cover lads like that plus Ross Young not suiting up this season and be competitive.

We wont cover the losses Dazzler and we will struggle to be competitive and at the end of the 2013 season this will prove to be the difference between improving our possie on the ladder and making a genuine charge for a finals birth and finishing in our customery bottom 2 positions.

A recruiting campaign should be to recruit players into the club where positions cant be filled from within 1.recruit to cover your losses and 2.recruit to fill the deficienies and there has to be some quality about the recruiting.
To this point we have gone nowhere near that.

As i see it this is the current coaches 3rd year in the job,its finals in 2013 and anything less is another failure!

East Freo aren't worth talking about mate....nothing going on, finished top two in all grades last year, travelling ok I guess.....NOW... PFC are a different kettle of fish...ongoing culture cleansing.....figjams coming.....figjams going, lot more to Footy goss about I reckon....

funnily enough, I was indeed a PFC member back when I was a youngster, my dad was a huge Perth fan.....stopped my membership when my old man sadly died after the 78 GF defeat...from memory the PFC died that year as well.....followed my elder brother over to the EFFC and well the rest is history I guess.....feel free to come over to the EF thread and take the piss out of us.....I aint gonna get all humpity about it, like some fella's here do.....it's called banter, but I guess also know as having ones jollies too!! ;)

If anyone involved in the decision to appoint DM for another season without waiting doesn't fall on their sword at the end of the year, then the WAFC should be demanding to take over.

How many more years of failure can this club take if this continues?

As for travesties, the coach was gifted a current AA player who was still capable of being an influential player in the AFL and wasted him in the back pocket. Leon Davis could have been the difference between being a couple of places higher on the ladder or not if used effectively. He could've torn the comp apart if playing under a more competent coach.

Your comments on Leon are the truest words ever spoken. I've never seen a bigger waste of a player in my entire life. Now he's gone and will be a long time till we get someone of his ilk at the club again

He took the club for a massive ride did Leon, was only ever going to play one year & took the coin too, what an oxygen thief.

I'm sure Chance will give his all, I have no doubt about that. But fact is he doesn't have the magical class Leon had.

Terror... Maybe he did take the club for a ride but what I saw from Leon onfield he gave 100% and if he had of been in the forward 50 he would have changed games... That's a fact

sacko if Neon was based in Perths forward line, who would be rescuing their backline from more pillaging then?....Neon probably prevented as many goals as he would of scored more than likely.....saying that with Perth's forward line being devoid of any goal kickers, opposition clubs could easily get away double teaming Neon up front, knowing full well the Perth forward without an oppositiong defender, running free, wouldn't do any damage....

So not knowing much about some of the new recruits apart from their height lets see how we might look on paper.

Backs: Hodge, Johnston, Kane

HB: Tedesco, Risol, Bateman

Centre: Florio, Sketcher, Jacobs

HF: Stack, Tunbridge, Reimers

FF: Donna, Busher*, McInness*

Ruck: Leyendekkers, Alli Smith, Bevan

Interchange from: Moody, Leeson, O'Sullivan, Eyres, Vidot, Holland, Murray, Houghton, Richardson, Irons, Stark

*subject to fitness and availability, Busher still struggling from all reports and with Lynch now at Collingwood i expect McIness to get a few opportunities at WC this year, anything from 4 - 10 games. Billings i have left out with rumours he won't be playing.
