I'll start Less than 2% , I would suggest wafl clubs with there volunteer coaches have a poor track record of developing talent.

Proper community football? Not the WAFL..thanks for being honest and clearing that up...I didn't think you were into the WAFL and you've confirmed it...ciao

I cannot see how the TAC cup would be a success when there had to be a huge pump up of funds last year via the TV deal - in addition to that interstate transfer fees have been abolished now , so by rights there should be even more access to players

So where are all these successful or unsuccessful TAC products ???

Answer: there aren't many - because the kids are leaving their system as well

Pretty sure TAC cup players don't pay. The comp is well funded, especially from the AFL.

But I can tell u that development squad players 13-16s can pay any where from 200 to 800 per year for the privilege of their talent.

Hi UnholyT, Grump seems to think that the quality of development coaching is good. Where do you think it is failing within WAFL Development pathways?

Normal fees associated with sport - same as WA

But I don't think we were talking about 13-16 yo's mate hey

WAFL budgets are tight & so the amounts per player would not be as high as the AFL backyard - nowhere near , exact ??? it would vary

The young kids are used as a revenue stream for wafl clubs.
Coaches are mostly volunteer at development level hiring of grounds is free for junior age with the exception of stadiums.

I'm pretty sure wafl league players don't pay.

Whoa there mate - revenue stream for kids was invented by the VFL , it is a by-product of their system , that's nonsensical stuff come on

Pre-87 colts was the TRUE pathway to league football , that's it no bones
