I wouldnt worry to much Mikeh there are some very capable players in the Ressies who could come and have Senior experience. Braydon Antonio is getting plus 30 disposals every week. then Crisp would slot in easy and a couple of others.
I am sure they guys would bust their guts as well to try and get into the League side.

The ressies will suffer but they are basically set for finals and wouldnt make a difference.
And bottom line is that is what ressies are there for.
It will be a slide on effect as Colts would be elevated but pretty sure they are locked in for finals as well.

I will be attending Joondalup for Ressies and League as per normal. If they were both written off next week I would still be there because I never write our guys off and anything can happen in footy.

Bottom line is if we had a scratch League side it would be a bloody good side and quite capable of winning.

Whilst BH and myself were enjoying a celebratory beer in the upstairs bar last nite we noted the new lift that has been constructed for our more elderly or disabled supporters and we mused that perhaps $ubi with their kind of ca$h flow could put one in at Leederville to help all 5 of your fans up and down from the clubrooms every home game!

Yeah nice one SD, but the lift has been at the Leederville clubrooms since day one, as it's a public building you'll find it's a requirement for disabled access, just that your clubrooms were built many years ago prior to that requirement, but good that you've managed a retrofit given your dire financial situation .... or is that all in the past?

Anyway great effort by your lads to at least put the pressure on CL who now have to win or die. Will be interesting to see what Joondy do with selections, I think they might rest a couple, Keunen carries their ruck every week so I'm sure he'd be happy with a rest, but they wont make wholesale changes, that would be flirting to much with form.

Great to read Matt Rogers comment this morning in the West that the team were inspired by the 400 people around the three quarter time huddle chanting and urging the team on. Also they were driven to try and give Swoop at least one more game.

Great to hear Corbin Middlemas mention on the ABC this morning with Geoff Hutchinson that the passion of Swans fans is unsurpassed in WA and that Saturday at Basso was one of his best days as a broadcaster so far. He is doing a piece on our great football club with John McGlue at 3.30 this afternoon on the ABC as well which should make for riveting listening.

Yeh mate that was brilliant stuff and no other club can match what we witnessed on Saturday, finals or not if that is my lasting memory of this year then I will be content and definitely had my monies worth!! Look forward to Corbins segment
