Good wrap up from yesterday DW, totally agree re Matty Rogers in fact I think he is future Captaincy material the way he is always geeing the boys up when all looks lost.
Broady has improved out of sight this year much like Boaky did last season full credit to himself and also the coaching staff in working on his deficiencies to the stage now where he is a benavides WAFL star.
Rudy trained the house down during the week and it showed with the way he went about it yesterday and some of his don't argues on the Tigers would have had even Danny Penny excited.
FYI the 2 blokes in the Colts you weren't sure of are Griffin Logue & Aidan Clarke, hopefully we get the likes of Chad Daniels, Cipro, Smith & Mason back before the finals start in a fortnight.

Thanks BH, threw the budget out yesterday and couldn't recall names. Apologies to #12 Griffin Logue and #43 Aiden Clarke, I will now remember your names. :P

BH I trust you were sufficiently impressed bu our 3 of 3 wins yesterday. We don't always agree but I wholeheartedly agree on your comments about Rogers. Is totally committed and showed just how much it meant to him and the team we he was singing the club song.

I trust that West Perth will do the right thing for us this coming Saturday.

Overheard an umpires advisor having a laugh with Swans official yesterday during the ressies. He was joking around saying he'd expect a free kick count of 97-3 in Claremont's favour just to keep the SD lads on Oz Footy happy. So they do read this site fellas.....any advice we want to give them from here can be considered well aimed.  :cheer: B)

DW having had the dubious pleasure of speaking to Mr Sinclair from the umpires, talking to a brick wall might be considered a more satisfying experience.

However, I will take up your challenge and ask how our colts' team could have a deficit of 91 in the free kick count prior to yesterday's game?

Nice one swan42...hope you get an answer....funny that Subi who are leading the ladder in the league have a similar discrepancy. Do they subconsciously or dare I say it consciously try to even things up?

DW from memory I think in one colts' game this season we won by over 10 goals yet received only one=third of the free kicks awarded in the match.

What a win.Not pretty in the conditions but desperate footy played.found a way to win when not playing that well for a large period of the game.Emotional scenes after the game, great to see the players and the supporters share the win.
Up to West Perth to remain unbeaten at home in 2015.if so watch out who ever we meet in the elimination final, maby East Perth.

I am thinking that Claremont still have the inside running for 5th spot as West Perth have little to play for next week apart from their home record and would be sensible and well within their rights to rest a few of their key players. This would obviously give the Tigers much more of a chance of upsetting them.
If we get the 5th spot we will more than likely be playing EP at Leederville.

Interesting points mikeh. From memory a few weeks back Claremont lead up at Joondalup at 3/4 time by over 20 points.West perth ran them over in the last qtr,,like they did to Swans two times this year up there.
Will be interesting to see what the Falcons do as they still have a few to come back from injury. This is there last hit out before the finals. From memory theres not a lot of love between West Perth and Claremont. If thats correct WP would love to knock them out of the finals. Some WP fans have told me they think Swans can beat East Perth in the finals.
