Unfortunately my soon to be Nephew has just been employed by $ubiaco in a money raising capacity so they are obviously planning for when the Well runs dry.

Leeds I was told the other day. That bar at Optus Stadium that has a 2000 person capacity. Is 20 or 25 % owned by the Subi footy club.

So DF where do you get your info from regarding all things Subi, there staffing etc and asking which set of books, do you have some info supporting that statement, short memory perhaps where your mob got done for not being able to manage your own books, which ever set of books that was, same for Joondy who have a history of hopelessly inept and unethical financial practices, also Peel who were done twice for salary cap breaches and had to merge with Freo to cover the fines and please expalin how we have all this influence on the commission, as far as I can see there is only one ex Subiaco person as a commissioner. Does he hypnotise the rest with some kind of super mind control? Really you guys need to get a grip. Every other club given the same circumstances as Subi would be doing exactly the same , would they do better or worse that Subi? who knows but please get off your high horses, you have no moral high ground to stand on. If the WAFL fails it's squarely due to the inaction of the WAFC in regards to marketing and equalisation of the comp, neither of which they have had the intent or balls to seriously address.

Must be a silent share GTR as Tim McLernon & Tony Buhagiar are named as the owners of the Camfield, they also own the Stables Bar & The Reveley.
If it is the case I have definitely had my last beer there!

That wouldn’t surprise me. Neil Randall owns Paddington Ale house and The Sandbar in Scarborough doesn’t he? Wouldn’t surprise if he’s got a hand in this and most likely used his position as WAFC commissioner having first hand knowledge in these things. This needs to be investigated. If these pricks have a stake in the Camfield then even more reason the WAFC needs to put the brakes in this mob and it’s time Neil Randall is shown the door as a WAFC commissioner.

DD before you make statements about people being shown the door you need to provide irrefutable proof of your allegations, I'm a Subi member and have no knowledge of who owns what, so if you somehow know all the details of who owns certain bars in the stadium precinct, put it on here because what you have posted at this stage are unsubstantiated allegations.

BH I can remember when Optus was close to completion. There was some talk going around about Subi trying to do some sort of business at the new stadium. At the time I think they where trying to secure a seat arrangement like they had at Subi oval. But with all the benefactors being the Wafl clubs.
The person who told me about there interest in Camfield. Are AFL Dockers people not Wafl fans.So don't think there Subi bashers.Perhaps there investment in Optus is a silent partnerships in the Camfield .

SS I used words if and doesn't he? I'm pretty sure I'm correct in saying he owns these venues or at least he did. Owns or used to own one in Subi or Jolimont as well?

It would be a further abuse of power if your club has got a stake in the Camfield. Ensuring your clubs financial dominance for decades to come.

Southener, what individual agreements do Subi currently have with the WAFC that other clubs
dont?

The one where they received benefits out of AFL games at a Taxpayer funded stadium which precluded all the other clubs
and the one where they were then subsequently paid to vacate from
individual agreements with the WAFC where they gained immense benefit

OK sorry I thought you meant current arrangements not past arrangements, The seats at Subi oval were offered to all clubs but appears only Subi took them up, we still owned our clubrooms and function centre out the back of the 3 tier stand so were in the fortunate sitiuation to make it work, we were very fortunate that, way back when, the WANFL decided to make Subi oval their headquarters, rather than Lotons who I think were the other option considered but not sure on that.
