2019 was probably one of worst weakest WAFL seasons in some time.

The fact that a highly depleted side like SF made it to the grand final speaks volumes for the weakness of the other sides and the comp. ( bar subi of course )

South lost an enormous amount of talent from last year, particularly forward power. Yet no other team could push to the GF, god forbid just how bad the cellar dwellers are.

The massive defeat by Subi ( last year as well ) just highlights the enormous gap in talent when it comes to the crunch.

This comp is in a world of pain

After all it is the commissioners job to look after the game while Townsend reports on it through his own lens.

Lobbying Neil Randall - is that a joke?

the worry with the clowns at the WAFC is the Subi dominance isnt a new problem, they belted WP the year before and without Peel being stacked they would have won 6 in a row !
why cant they see the issues with the comp ?
its just lip service from Taylor - he only has to keep Peel(Freo) and the WC reserves happy and he is doing his job for the WAFC.

Dazzler wrote: Numpty Taylor said on the question of equalisation that the WAFC wanted to see Peel and WCR be competitive. That's it. That's the focus. This former gym manager is way out of his depth. He's swanning around Melbourne all week getting his arse kicked in by the AFL on compensation from the mid-year draft - can't believe they are pitching for a paltry 15k fee - having conversations with the SANFL mob who must be laughing themselves stupid at this clown and getting the penguin suit cleaned for the Granny which he'll no doubt be another freeloader at on the WAFC chit that all our clubs pay for.

$ubi are a pox on the competition but he hasn't got a fkn clue what to do. He'll talk to the clubs. Maybe they'll look at the 'soft cap', maybe points, maybe stick your finger in the air and see which way the winds blowing. FMD. Nero Taylor, the pool guy, he doesn't have a fkn clue.

Yep SPOT ON!

Spot on. I came to conclusion a while back that they actually don't care. either that or they are on the take.

They will win it next year as well.

Most likely be a Claremont v Subi GF, another 10 goal plus pumping, but his time with a crowd of 10K.

Yes, yes it is. It's no wonder Taylor is bleating the codswallop that he is with Randy on board - perhaps they all sit around the commissioners table and discuss bar raising and benchmarks.

lucky for WAFL followers that the WAFC listened to Subi a couple of years ago, those nasty Peel people stopped them from winning a couple of flags so they changed the rules.
lucky for Subi the rules were changed and they trained harder.

the stripping of draft fees and subsequent take-over of the Colts has drastically weakened clubs abilities
exclude Mandurah , East Perth & Subiaco from this due to their individual situations where they have gained financially when the WAFC signed off on their respective arrangements.
The distribution of coin has to change and be directed to the other clubs

But what the Subi coach didn’t realise is that he was up against the SuperCoach of the century.
